The only time Rovagug can be considered "safe" in any way, shape, or form.

This product is clearly a joke, but let's look at it from a practical perspective:

Do you know how many times I've written ideas, notes, and more in spiral-bound notebooks, only for them to get accidentally crumpled (or worse, crushed) when I'm loading my backpack after a session?
And even nicer, hardcover journals - those are rarely the same dimensions as the other books on my bookshelf, making them stick out (or rather, being smaller, they get pushed back and hidden) when displayed alongside the other campaign books.
This notebook will be perfect for all sorts of stuff! (That is, if I can ever convince myself to use it...)
In other words, this is the best, *practical* joke I've seen in quite some time.

So you're saying this product really fills a GAP?

Hannibal Smith lights his cigar and says, "I love it when a plan comes together!" right before he explodes into his true dragon form and flies off.

More like a Critical Fumbus Deck. Look at that great box art!

Are these included in the individual chapter packs? Or do I have to buy these as well as those to get everything?

The bestiary paper minis are a separate purchase from the adventure path minis. Some of these creatures appear in those other paper mini sets if they are encountered in that chapter but all Jade Regent bestiary entries, including the creatures not appearing in the AP, are in this set.

The Jade Regent Bestiary paper minis are complete and Paizo is working to get them added to the main paper minis page but in the meantime you can find them through a direct link HERE.

Thanks Rick!

Thanks for your patience. Part 6 has been completed and uploaded to Paizo. It should be available within the next week or so.

Great art!

Awesome! Any estimate on Book 6?

I'm aiming for Late June/early July.

Wow, Todd you seem to be cranking out these rather fast. Very nice!

This is actually the last part of the AP that i gamemastered, as the group came apart after it - a very good adventure.

Looking forward to part 6! :-)

Thanks!

I really like the cover artwork and wish your illustrations would be turned into actual pawn collections!

I have GM´d Jade Regent books 1-5 and this brings back fond memories.

Cool to see the paper minis line continue. :-)

Thanks! I'm glad folks like the minis.

Thank you Terek! I appreciate the kind words. Look for Part 5 of Jade Regent in the next week or so.

Hi morningsunshine,

I've made some of the Paizo Paper Minis that are available and I'd like to help you. While we don't have separate instructions for assembling every set, we've tried to maintain a consistency in how they're assembled.

Which set or sets have you downloaded? I know the instructions mention a red fold line but the minis I've produced have a black fold line. More recent minis don't have the black bases as depicted in the instructions either, mostly to save you ink. Other than those alterations, the instructions should apply to most of the Paper Minis sets available.

Please let me know what specific questions you may have so we can get your minis assembled and on the table.

Todd

Thanks, Salafax!

The drake revision has been uploaded. Those who've already purchased this set should get an email letting them know of the update.

Thanks, Rick!

And good catch, Zaister. I'll fix the error and submit the revised version soon.

Liz got me my first steady art gig in the industry, something that I'm still doing 5 years later. That paper minis work helped open the door for many other projects. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have as fun and challenging a job as I do as a freelancer.

Thank you Liz, for giving me a chance to do what I love and for making these forums a great place to be.

Do these have front and back sides?

As there is no facing in Pathfinder each side is the same art, mirrored.

Thank you, Liz!

Paper miniatures are now available for this module. You can find them here.

Thanks Liz!

Thanks Liz!

Are Pathfinder Paper Minis still a going concern? It looks like no new sets have been released in quite a while.

Look for something new from me next week.

Wow,

This is my first paper mini's product purchase and I really like the feel/style of the artwork.

I think I am going to get more paper minis because of how useful these are.

How do you determine what adventure path/module you make?

Thanks! I don't really pick which sets I make. I think Paizo assigns them based on a number of factors. But requests from the community don't hurt!

Everyone please be aware that an extra cephalophore snuck its way into this minis set. I don't know its intentions so please proceed with caution.

Is this a duplication of the pawns in the Paper Mini's sets from the individual Reign of Winter adventures? (I already purchased all 6, so I don't want to buy this if it's just a single-volume set of the stuff I already have.)

Any minis from the 6 bestiaries that appeared in the Adventure Path are duplicated here. But there are some minis that are unique to this set. I'd estimate it's about a 50/50 split.

Thanks Liz!

Jeez there's some big minis in this set! Reminds me of Serpents Skull.

Yep. I think all the huge and gargantuan creatures decided to hang out in this set.

Thanks Liz!

Sorry for the delay. Life got in the way this summer. But I promise if it's not done before Gen Con, it'll be done after Gen Con. ...Wait, that doesn't help. It'll be done in mid-August. Yeah, that's what I meant.

All printed and ready to assemble, they look awesome as usual Todd!

I posted a review and some pics of chapter 4.

Thank you. I always love seeing photos of the assembled minis.

Sure they're...

Spoiler:
stone golems that are affected by a haunt, causing them to bleed.

And thanks, Zaister. I think they're awesome too. Or super-duper. The translator couldn't decide.

Indeed! I had a lot of fun drawing some of the creatures for set 5. Definitely my favorite of the AP.

It looks like I made 3 mounted dragonriders but only 2 unmounted because the PCs will encounter at most 2 riders at once. I made 3 mounted versions because the dragonkin they are riding are 3 different colors. One green, one red, and one black.

The minis for Rasputin Must Die! are done and I'm compiling them into the final PDF. They should be posted for sale Soon™.

Edit: Yep, I checked the adventure and there are indeed 2 separate encounters, 1 dragonrider in the first and 2 in the second.

Thanks, Liz!

If I could just get this simulacrum spell to work, I'd get them done twice as fast.

Those look great, ibayboy. Thanks for the link.

The minis for book 4, The Frozen Stars, have been submitted and are waiting to be posted. You should see them soon.

Thanks!

The Talking Stag, male elk

The adventure has him as white coated. The figure is not.

Indeed he is. My GM pointed that out a few months ago so I updated the artwork but forgot to submit it to Liz. Thanks for the reminder. Sending it in now.

Haunted wrote:

Rozum, male advanced awakened raven oracle (Tiny)

The adventure states he is an albino. The figure is not albino

Ratibor the Bold, male human barbarian
** spoiler omitted **

Good catch on Rozum. I'll update that soon. As for Ratibor...

Spoiler:
If you're referring to his boots, they allow him to take the form of a frost giant, so I chose not to include an embiggened Ratibor since frost giant minis are included in this set. But I'm not opposed to including an enlarged Ratibor if there's a big demand for it.

Darrell Impey UK wrote:
Been meaning to ask, was producing the jinkins (page 2) as small rather than tiny a deliberate choice?

Good catch! No, they're supposed to be tiny. I've already updated the file and sent it to Liz. Not sure when it'll be posted due to the holidays but it should be soon™.

I've recently been making my own paper counters by using google images and copying them into word document at the sizes I need.

It worked very well for the falcon guard archers and their falcons plus the winter wolf Maugrim and the merrow troll bridge toll takers.

Prior to that I had been using mostly 4e counters from the Monster Vault and they had worked well but this way I can quickly get fairly specific appropriate looking ones to print out and then cut out at the game.

If it's specifically appropriate minis you're looking for, I highly recommend these:

Reign of Winter #1, Reign of Winter #2, Reign of Winter #3

(Then again, I'm biased.)

Thanks, Liz!
