"Well what can I say, I grew up on a farm near Clearbrook and boy did I get bored, this resulted in me leaving home at 16 to go find my place in life in the city, got into a few scrapes here and there before settling down to learn Barbering, you see I think looking good helps you feel good and when you feel good your more likely to be good to those around you." He smiles as he says this. "I returned to Clearbrook about 7 years ago now as one of those scrapes resulted in having to leave." the smile turns slightly wistful at this point followed by a sigh.

Todd goes to the grill carefully selects a selection of lean red meats and vegetables, then returns to the table. Noticing Amie looking at Sam he smiles slightly to himself before becoming seated. "Ok time to tuck in I think" he says adjusting his gloves and pulling out some eating utensils from a pouch.

"Ok so we have a guide, thank you for that by the way, and some equipment for those that know how to use it, and I echo the request to get some food.", Todd turns to Sam "I'm sorry if that skit seemed a little harsh but I needed to bring you down to earth fast and guess I chose the wrong way to do it, its not the first time I've mucked up royally, and I guess I need to process whats going a little bit more as well."

Todd gives Sam a patronising look. "Guess you've been too busy mooning over her sister to notice the fact that she's grown up, or at least thinks she has," and as to the situation deepens his voice to a heroic timbre "Grace we're here to rescue you,"

Spoiler: Todd closes his eyes and immerses himself in the noises around him centering himself on thoughts of beauty and its presence within all things, the interplay of the movement in a fight and a dance, the colours and shapes the mind generates in the dark against the brightness of a summers day, all the while preparing for what may be about to come.

Todd looks slightly exasperated with that statement. "Thought he would have known better." Todd gives a sweeping bow, "Phoenix, it looks like I'll have to take my leave of your company, I'll try to be back for the main event." and with that he spins and strides off to attempt to intercept the Fivetrees.

Kayos wrote: Little Phoenix is overjoyed at Todd's antics and tries her hardest to copy him, failing for the mostpart but seemingly having a great time doing it. Attempting a tumble she ends up flat on her back staring up at the sky and laughing heartily. A few of the other villagers appear to have noticed the pair and seem to be watching Todd closely with intrigued looks. Todd gets to his feet, smiling broadly he pulls out a brush from one of his pockets and brushes hinself down. "Ah feeling good, what you thought I wouldn't look good when I move as well"

"Thats alright its all about feeling good, its just looking good helps that." Todd follows the girl into the dance spinning and tumbling witha level of skill that might surprise those who know him. He was trying for some comedic slapstick style trips and falls but failed the comedy whilst blitzing the acrobatics so I think the acro overshadowed the comedy quite a bit.

Kayos wrote: "Yay!" The little gypsy girl chirps as she pulls Todd along with her "I'm sure you're a good dancer really! My sisters say they're not very good too but they are! I want to be able to dance like them! I like your hair! It's very shiny! What's your name? I'm Phoenix!" She rattles on, seemingly in one breath. "I'm Todd nice to meet you, the trick with hair is to find the balance between washing it too often and not often enough, of course having it correctly layered also helps."

Having made sure all his tools were in order and spent a a few minutes or so getting spruced up, Todd wandered out and down to the village centre. Stopping briefly to study the riot of colour, it was good to see people feeling good about themselves. He winced "Ouch, that young man must be colour blind."

I forgot monks start with so little gold, damnabbit, any chance of squeezing the needed kit for my profession out of the kind and loving DM? (Healers Kit, Surgeons tools and barbering gear?.) Oh and since I believe 20 may have been nabbed any chance of one of the houses just to the left of 23.

Well given that Sorcerors get eschew materials as a bonus feat at first level that shouldn't be too much of an issue. Otherwise its gotta catch em all time for those expensive ones. |
