Tkk-tkk is a thri-kreen, jeral to those who know the difference. The most distinctive feature to non-kreen is the etching on her chitin. Religious folk will notice that this etching includes symbols of elemental earth. She wears alchemically treated hides studded with hard crystals, but she carries no weapons beyond those she was born with.

Even as a larva, Tkk-tkk felt a dual call. Both down to the earth that sustained them and up to the skies above. It took time for this to develop, but these powers grew in sync with each other. Within a few years, she had found a small Crystal. One that resonated with the spirits of earth. K'tak bonded with her and taught her the ways of Earth. Meanwhile she learned to use gusts of wind to hunt, and to jump even farther than ordinary kreen could.

Before long she felt the call and chose a mate. Her first clutch had 13 survivors, and her second clutch had 18. Very successful. But soon after this, she lost her mate. He was killed by an elf with a distinctive mask wearing chitin armor. A kreen-slayer. He killed the rest of her clutch, leaving her alone. She had been hunting. She saw the hunter fleeing in the distance, using magic to move quickly. It took a couple of days for her to lose the trail.

When this ended, she found herself alone and looking for a new clutch.
