I don't think I'm going to be able to rework Tio into something I still feel resembles him thematically, so I'm going to be looking at some options that have nothing to do with him as well. Tio and Lagun may still return as some sort of Spiritualist and Phantom, but as of now, I'm not sure of anything!


This makes me want to rejigger Tio Ringa, a character I made for a Reign of Winter game a long time ago, but strangely enough, I don't think dreamscarred press is generally kosher for PFS. I'll put some thought into some things, though.

The only reason I was okay provoking with Lagun is that I could summon another. It would complicate things in the meantime, but he also has a fairly respectable AC for this level, and I'm a gambling man at heart when it comes to tabletop games.

For future reference, this is what usually happens when sorcerers and their ilk go ahead of the meatier members of the party. :P

Or at least, what's happened to every caster but one that I've seen do it. Grapplemancers are strange and wonderful things.

Edit: if you end up having more interested players than you're comfortable with, feel free to take me off the list first. While I really enjoy Tio, I'm picking up a second job, with the potential in the next month or two for a third, depending on how things go and whether I can handle it. I'd rather the players who have the time to put in the amount of effort your game would deserve.

I can move just north of Halek without provoking by sticking to the wall, and I'm forming Lagun with the trip special ability, using Stand Together, Assault, and forming him directly opposite Kazushi in relation to Saventa

Tio stumbles slightly, holding his stomach. "...That buzzing... it's making me nauseous, I can't stand it." With a flick of his wrist, Lagun dissipates, though the Kineticist still looks rather woozy. "I believe you're right, Aidan," he says as the soulknife pulls his hand away, "That's probably a poor choice."

Tio takes a step forward, once more raising his hand to direct his friend.

5 foot step diagonally forward, towards the creatures, then Stand Together, Assault, directed at the red bordered hanoshafyr, assuming the one in the middle has been dropped, and placing Lagun just southeast of it, an easy position to be flanked in.

Lagun's extra menu choice will once more be Buff, putting him at 20hp.

The short fight concluded, Lagun once more dissipates, blowing away into nothing, with a wave.

"I haven't the foggiest; I'm not much of a trader. What worries me more is what they might be using this for. With all these footprints around, I can't imagine they're trying to move it much; it must have some sort of purpose."

Oops. I forgot to choose which "floating" menu choice to use, from Boost Construct. For simplicity's sake, and not needing to recalculate damage or anything, or add any more dice rolls, I'll just take buff, and add 5hp, if that's okay?

Swing and a miss. We'll get him next round, maybe, Lagun. If he's still alive. That said, I'd like to place Lagun in the square just south of the blue-bordered creature he's attacking.

I'll keep my cestus equipped, but hopefully I won't need to use it, other than maybe an AoO here or there. I don't anticipate running out of Copies particularly quickly, and I'm not terribly good with it to begin with.

Tio hasn't even time to react before the guards are dispatched in a colorful spray of magic. Slightly dazzled, he rubs his eyes. " I suppose we don't have to worry too much about them anym- Kenax...? Tio follows quietly behind the others, ready to summon Lagun at a moment's notice, if they need a distraction. His complete and total lack of darkvision makes for a difficult task of following his companions, though somehow he manages to at least, hopefully keep himself relatively quiet and hidden.

Shroud marksman are really neat. Instead of reading the wind and adding wisdom to their attack rolls if I'm remembering correctly at least, they can briefly turn invisible.

I've got a rank in it, and it's a class skill, but my dexterity isn't too high, and along with my ACP, I've only got a +5.

Tio likewise orders some food, eating quietly and listening to the bit of bickering amongst his allies. "Well whatever we do, we ought to get on the way, instead of squabbling amongst ourselves about jokes and whatnot," he says, taking a drink. "Sound like a plan?"

Tio is very quickly irritated by the talk of murdering townsfolk. "There is absolutely no way I'll be standing for the massacre of those in this town. We will do what need be done without harming the innocent, or at the very least, without death."

It's not the preparation of spells that requires 8 hours of rest, it's regaining spell slots, technically.

"Lagun and I can take the middle watch," Tio offers. "as he certainly needs unbroken rest, nor do I, to call upon him."

Tio keeps relatively quiet, talking little of his family or his past, happy to let others take the limelight. He eats, and plenty; not a big meat-eater, the fruits and veggies are quite appealing to him, and good, to boot.

After the meal, he nods to Aidan at his suggestion; returning to the tavern sounds a fine idea, and he certainly hadn't any better.

Tio requests a set of simple tools, and a sinple, though large, block of wood, then starts to work. He works quickly at first, removing large slices of the hard wood, his hands almost a blur. Once he's determined the relative shape of the piece, he switches to a much finer chisel, taking long, thin strips from the block. Before long, his sculpture is complete, and surprisingly abstract and whimsical, foot the medium he's chosen. To any of the audience who might know, it would appear to be an elemental of some sort, certainly not of physical origin, with the shapes evoked, while the party would recognize the sculpture as a spitting image of a larger Lagun.

It's funny, I almost made a Tactician with that archetype that lets you take the actions of Collective Members for them, and unwilling participant. Looks like that wouldn't have gone over too well with the iguana, glad I stuck with my choice!
