Sovereign Court

Look for help making this into a stat block and rules on making into a mount. I think this has been out of DnD and Pathfinder for far to long, more so now that we have the dino-druid archetype.

Epic play is a bit of a battle of high powered and over the top dice rolling. Most of the time there is lots of player or monster slaugters and very little imagination as to why the characters themselves are even still around and haven't exploded with pure power.

I really say no to the epic level thing, mainly because it is hard to keep up with the system past that point unless you built it up scaling the CR's to follow along.

But it is sure compatible I will give it that.

I would think that most Defenders of Dark Evil scary gods would be Lawful in nature personally. Since most of the politics in games are based around lawful characters.

As far as the name goes. Blackguard is like a fallen paladin or believer in a good god but is doing it in an unlawful way. Or Greyguard for those who are not quiet paladins but still follow the order to some degree.

The idea of a Dark Paladin suggests a lawful person who follows an evil god in order to spread their will.

I personally like the idea of a very long arm whip thing, maybe belonging to a dead long armed wizard.

Make it like a +3 enhanced whip with a few times per day ability like Spectral Hand.

I believe a better wording of this would be

as a move and standard action you can move your full fly speed and make a single action along that path,

pending the fly check of course. Which keeps you for making a huge angle change in midair to fly back the way you came.

Since the benefit of it lets you make a move action and than another standard (the attack) and then finish your move.
But you can not double or triple move in that move action.

I find it easier to think of it like a swoop attack. Swift action optional, Move Bang Move, done.
