Nice, i did get it through Broken Token on Amazon. They only had one left. I was trying to get 3.


Are there any indications on the package which version you have? I just ordered one on Amazon yesterday....so when it comes i would like to see what "version" i got. I might return it and get the 3rd version if i can.


If I have another player at m location....can they play "Blessing of the Gods" so I can add another die to my check?

i.e. I have Merisiel and Amiri at the same location. I am trying ot close the location with an intelligence check....Merisiel was the one who defeated the henchmen and is trying to close the location. Can Amiri play Belssing of the Gods to add a die to Merisiels check? What if I am having Merisiel also playing a blessing of the Gods card?


Can I decide to add a character to my party when I want to? Obviously no in the middle of a game but between games.

For instance...I am only on "black fangs dungeon" in RotR....I started the adventure path with Valeros, Amiri and Merisiel....however, I seem to be losing out on ALOT of Arcane and Divine checks/items. I just lost my most recent game by time running out (no one died)....for my next game can I add Lini to my party?


I drew this card from a location. It says each player at an open location summons and encounters an ancient skeleton henchmen.

If I defeat the skeleton can I attempt to close the location as the card says? So, if I have two players at one location I get two attempts to close that location?

thanks to all those that have helped me so far in learning this game. I am digging it!!


1.) if I have multiple characters at a location and the "penalty" for an encounter is to deal damage to all characters at that location....can I "recharge" the characters hand BEFORE I start the next exploration? i.e. Veleros and Amiri are at the same location...I have to deal 1 damamge to all characters at that location. Veleros was the one who triggered, and lost, the event. Amiri is down to 3 cards in her hand. Do I have to start her turn, which is after veleros, with 3 cards? or can I top it off to her hand size of 4?

2.) Since the "poison trap" henchmen has a sub-type of barrier....can I use the burglars abilities to add to my check(recharge this card to add a 1d10 to your stealth or disable check, or your check to defeat a barrier)?


Dang it...one more off topic question:

Playing the first scenario Brigandoom.

At a location on I encounter the Bandit henchmen. If I defeat it says I can immediately try to close. If I decide not to.....do I have to go through the rest of the cards at the location to be able to close it? or since the henchmen is defeated can I close it whenever I want regardless how many cards are still there?


Ah...thanks for helping...and hopefully last question. Just to clarify so that I understand it:

In the case of the ambush card...I need to pick a trait and use that...so I have to pick EITHER wisdom, perception, dexterity OR acrobatics?

So my options for Veleros would be:

1.) Roll 1d8 for his dexterity
or
2.) Roll 1d4 for his wisdom
or
3.) Roll 1d4 for acrobatics (not a listed trait for him so it defaults to the 1d4).
or
4.) Roll 1d4 for perception (not a listed trait so it defaults to the 1d4) + 1d10 using the night watch card in my hand.


So can I add all 3? 1d8 for Dexterity, 1d4 for wisdom and 1d10 for the night watch card?


I just started playing Rise of the Runelords and need something clarified:

1.) I am playing Veleros and I encountered the Ambush card while exploring.

Ambush lists Wisdom, Perception, dexterity, acrobatics 9 for the check. Valeros has 1d4 for wisdom. In my hand I have the Night Watch Alley that adds 1d10 to your perception check. Can I use the 1d4 and 1d10 for this check?

2.) What affect do I apply when something says take "fire damage" vice "force damage"?
