Yeah, character creation night was last night. Those were the 4 races they had in mind when they were talking about the campaign a couple weeks ago. Thanks for the input, I've also thought of a few ways to go from here as well.

Ok gang, my friends are wanting me to run a campaign where they are elemental races, 1 from each of the 4 main elements. Sounds like it could be fun and I have a 1 idea in particular to get it started.

The elements of the world have been acting sporadically, volatile. Tornadoes popping up from nowhere, quakes, fires spontaneously getting out of control, and water doing, well whatever water does when it gets out of whack, snowing in the middle of summer with hot temps.

So that's the basic starting point. And I figure I would go along the lines of a deity from each of the domains seeking out a representative to get to the bottom of things. And though each of the elemental races are reluctant to work alongside each other, the representatives chosen have been so because they understand the severity and haste of the issue at hand. As such, they have set aside any differences for the greater good, as best they can anyway.

With that said, anybody have some ideas or know what sources I can use to fill out this campaign??

Wasn't quite sure where to stick this one so I figured here was as good as any.

OK, what were some of your (at least mine anyway) books growing up as kids? Very likely the choose your own ending books right?

I'm sure we are all familiar with how difficult it can be to get a good gaming group together due to schedules/locations, and that some of us may even live in the middle of nowhere Antarctica... So a suggestion I have, cause I haven't seen it anywhere yet that is and correct me if I'm wrong, is to create some solo adventures. Something where a person can create their own character or two even, and take them through an adventure. Give some of the solo guys a chance at a bit of gaming.

Now I know these tabletop RPG's are all about socializing and I agree, however, I haven't turned a video game on in the last couple weeks because I have gotten a hold of some PF material and have done nothing but read up and create some characters. And the whole time I am thinking to myself I wish I could play these characters, but with nobody around when I am needing them, it's kind of difficult. So to satisfy my hunger I pretty much just pull some monsters out of the bestiaries and go toe to toe with them.

Anyway, just my 2 Lincoln's, and I dunno if this will even make it to people that make these decisions. Happy hunting - Thor
