Fortune favors the archaeologist. As a swift action, an archaeologist can call on fortune’s favor, giving him a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls.

At 2nd level, an archaeologist gains a bonus equal to half his class level on Disable Device and Perception checks. He can disable intricate and complex devices in half the normal amount of time (minimum 1 round) and open a lock as a standard action. At 6th level, an archaeologist can take 10 on Disable Device checks, even if distracted or endangered, and can disarm magical traps.
This ability replaces the versatile performance ability.

Song
Thorongil is a stern man who is often seen as grim at times, yet by many he is counted wise for he is versed in lore as well as the arts of combat and has a keen wit and a cunning mind.
His eyes are grey and bright and though his skin is fair - for he hails from the north - it has been darkened by many journeys. His beard is flecked with grey and his face is weathered though these marks of age are due largely to the trials he has faced rather than the years he has lived.
He carries a long, thin blade at his side and a bow at his back and is dressed in gear suited for long travel.
Despite the mystery which surrounds him, as well as his nature, he is courteous and honorable and willing to speak to others and learn from their lore.
