Thanks - I was really beginning to think it was me!

I'm getting confused by the schedule.

I thought the lottery closed today at 1, or maybe 6, EST, with open registration happening at the same time. Then I thought it closed Friday. Then, tomorrow at 3 PM EST, but trading opens on Friday at 1. And now there's an email telling me to sign up for the lottery if I haven't yet, because signups close Wednesday Thursday the 11th (?!? Guessing the Wednesday is a typo?) at 3 EST and event trading / open registration is Thursday at 3 PM.

Does anyone know when open registration actually is?

Driving ~6000 miles round trip. Want to make sure I get to play :-)

Two really basic questions from a first-timer.

I'm driving in from Kentucky. Yaay me and my silly driving ways. That does mean I'll have a car to park though. Any suggestions on where to park if I'm staying at the con hotel? It seems like their parking is offsite parking for the airport, so theoretically cheaper than parking there...any advice?

I'm trying to understand the lottery. Let's say there's an event I really really really want. That gets a 4, clearly (highest priority). If that is my absolute first choice for that day, that's my only 4 to maximize my chance? I can have 4s on different days without changing the odds on that one? I'd like to use the lottery the way it's intended.

Got to love a night spent planning both PaizoCon and Origins! :-)
