just wanted to add to the previous post too is it only perform craft and lore skill check for earn income unless you have a feat opening more option?

This is also a question I have been unable to answer for my players. The core rulebook mentions the ability to use other skills for Earn Income with a DC that's "significantly higher" than using Crafting, Lore, or Performance. Are players allowed to use other skills, and assuming the DC Adjustment table 10-6 is used, which Difficulty applies?

Secondly, regarding Pathfinder Training, are pregens allowed a level-appropriate consumable from the All-Schools Table at the start of the session?

Finally, how does Downtime work, specifically in terms of skill modifiers, for a player using a level 5 pregen to apply credit as a yet-to-be-built lower level character?

Bump, bump, bump! Will we be getting a new player boon before 2019?

It's been nearly 7 months since there's been any movement on this particular thread. I've searched around but haven't found any other updates. My players are very disheartened by this, especially since Pathfinder Society gets multiple boons, and those boons have even been changed out for 2018.

Why didn't the Starfinder player boon get an update at the same time as the GM boon?

My RVC is AMAZING, and he has told me more than once to be patient about this, but I know my Starfinder players are disappointed with the RSP. Never mind the fact that a player needs to BUY something before they can even utilize the boon (none of the PFS versions are that way). I now have several players who have refused a copy of the old boon in hopes of getting a new one whenever it comes out.

When will SFS 1-16: Dreaming of the Future and SF AP 004: Dead Suns, Part 4: The Ruined Clouds be added to the reporting system? Also, when will The Ruined Clouds be added to the SFS Additional Resources page?

I've scheduled both of these products at my store in July but have been unable to list them on the Event page. I would like to know if I should reschedule The Ruined Clouds if it's not legal for SFS play by mid-July.

Dark Archive

My issue isn't about missing reporting either, but the threads that are about my issue are all getting locked in favor of this one.

Reporting for Dead Suns Book 1 is defaulting to a max of 4 Fame when the actual max should be 5.

I emailed the website admin earlier this week but haven't received a response back, not even an automated message. I create separate events for each month, and I'm unable to report any of my store's sessions for November. I've decided to use my December event for the 9 November tables I need to report, as well as for the rest of this month's sessions. It's extra work for me, but I'm more annoyed that all of my players and GMs will need to update their chronicle sheets. What a hassle! I hope this doesn't happen again, Paizo.

Thanks, Lisa. That was a total fail on my part. I should have posted directly to Website Feedback.

Unfortunately, regardless of where this is posted (and there are a few different forum posts on the reporting problem) the issue still hasn't been resolved. I have 2 weeks worth of sessions that need to be reported, and I'll have another 5 tables to report by Friday. I'm very frustrated by the lack of response by the website admins.

I believe it's part of the general website glitches as of this last week.

I was actually unable to create my Starfinder event. Maybe I'll check again tonight.

Thanks, Eric! I figured it might have something to do with the Extra Life/Humble Bundle promotion. I hope the issue is resolved soon, though. I dislike holding onto sign-in sheets for several days. I've lost a few in the past, and it's always a hassle trying to ask all the players/GMs for their info again. Hope you can create your event soon, too.

Anyone else unable to report sessions lately? It's been a problem for me over the last few days. I tried doing a quick search of the forums but couldn't find any related posts. I'm still able to create events, though.

I have a couple of questions:

Spoiler:
Regarding the Fort save for the Curse of Bestial Dreams on page 5. Does the Fort save negate the "greater danger" of being sickened/confused as well, or just the -1 to Int/Dex/Attack rolls? The text also mentions "magical healing" as a way to bypass the lesser effect and headaches, which makes me assume the greater danger isn't negated by a good Fort save or healing.

Also, would a PC be allowed to take 20 on Perception to locate traps if they fail their Fort save? What if they make their save?

Thanks!

If I'm reading this correctly, you can't gain a bonus from a faction pin and a folio re-roll in the same scenario, because you have to choose which one to spot in your promotional slot. Do I have that right?
Well, you cannot get a folio reroll at all.

I actually used my folio for a reroll last Saturday during a slot 0 before all this came out. Kinda bummed to learn folio reroll is out for SFS, but sounds like it'll still come in handy.

I too am unable to download anything. I tried downloading 3 or 4 different PDFs but keeps kicking me back to My Downloads.

I just noticed there's a small typo in the boon. The last line says "seven more games" when it should be "four more games."

All the other spellcasting classes appear to have it on their spell list; why not Bloodragers? In terms of scrolls, without Read Magic it makes the DC to decipher them very difficult unless someone is willing/able to spend the gold/ability points required to increase her Spellcraft skill. Was this an oversight, or was it done intentionally to add balance to the game?

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I'm wondering if this boon can also bring back to life a long-dead PC? Raise Dead has its limits in terms of how many days a PC can be dead in order to work, but time isn't necessarily linear in PFS (characters can be left un-played for years), especially if a PC dies at the very end of a scenario, number of days would be undefined. It would be a nice way to use this boon, as it would allow a single character to be spared regardless of when or how they died. Also, I think the boon works better posthumously then attaching it to a currently living character who might not ever need it. Am I being too generous?

Thanks for the responses! I have the Slyph and Oread boons already, so I'm halfway there. I'm hoping to trade for an actual Suli boon so I can avoid the need to collect the Ifrit and Undine boons.

Can I use my Elemental Dilettante boon to create a Suli without the other elemental boons, as the required races are currently PFS legal?

I have GM'ed 7 tables. Why does my ID card now list me as a 1-star GM?

3 of the tables have been Master of the Fallen Fortress. Does MotFF give +2 table credits?

I'm happy to wear my new star with pride! I just want to be sure I've actually earned it!

Angelo, I would have spelled out that the PC's had the option to help out the HK's. I did the same thing you did, I decided that since I forgot to mention that option I wouldn't penalize them for it. I ended up giving them the option to try to heal the downed HK in my combat, which they took.

Thanks, Mitch. I should have done the same. I'm giving the PCs their 2nd PP due to my oversight.

A2: The rockslide
A3: Cythnigot Horde combat
B2: Sigils of Sin combat

Yet the scenario reads like the rockslide would actually be A1, Cythnigot combat A2, and Sigils combat B1.

Also regarding the rockslide, it says if the PCs choose to wait out the storm proceed to A3 first. Does that mean have them encounter the Cythnigot Horde from the base of the hill, then have the PCs attempt the climb once the combat is over? It seems to imply this in the initial text for the Cythnigot encounter, which mentions starting the combat at base of the hill rather then up top based on the PCs current location.

I had mey players just skip the hazard once the weather was past.

As for ya initial Q, I figured they'd forgot to label the encounters and we were meant to check those ones where the writeup mentions Hellknight casualties.

Thanks Muser! I ran it last night with a table of 5 playing up with the 4-person adjustment, and I went with what I originally posted. They lost out on their 2nd PP because a Hellknight died during the Orc combat (B2?) as it took them almost 5 rounds to defeat the orcs. I kinda feel bad about it since I don't think I impressed on them enough the harshness of the Hellknight battle going on behind them (which is stated in the scenario), so none of the PCs bothered to help the Hellknights out. I never even told them they COULD help the Hellknights if they wanted. I want to help my players succeed, but I don't want to always throw a bunch of breadcrumbs either. Should I have throw that option out to them during the combat? It only took 1 Hellknight to lose that PP.

I ran this (tier 8-9) a few months back, and after reading all the forum posts about the mimic's adhesive ability, I felt comfortable about running the encounter. However, two things came up that I was unsure about:

1: The mimic initially auto-grappled the 2 PCs directly in front of it, but I wasn't sure if it was able to reach around those PCs to attach itself to other PCs behind them? I know the mimic has 10ft reach, but with the cover of PCs stuck to it, would it have been able to use its Shape Change ability to wrap itself around the grappled PCs to attach itself to other PCs?

2: A player was able to cast Freedom of Movement on everybody, which potentially made the mimic's auto-grapple useless. Was I right to allow the spell to bypass the adhesive? I couldn't think of a reason on the spot to not allow it to work.

This was one of those scenarios that I thought would almost certainly be a TPK but ended up being fairly easy for the well-prepared party. Still, my players seemed to enjoy themselves, and it was fun to see the look on their faces once the first PC put his hands onto the door/mimic and got stuck!
