Chuul Aberration 7

Four horrors like the monster the FOs fought on Lido Beach sit amid the crowd....

Chuul Aberration 7

The Lido Beach Horror shudders one final time as the kitsune's bullet pierces a vital artery, and it collapses with a great splash, freeing Prue and Lakra from its horrible claws.....

Chuul Aberration 7

How!? How did it come to this? I underestimated these delectable little things.... They are dangerous to me....and now I lose everything because I sought sustenance? If i must desist, then I shall take two at least with me!

The Lido Beach Horror scuttles after Lakra, snatching at the young mutant with its immense claw....1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19 Snip!! 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 = 12

Lakra is crushed, and falls limp.

Chuul Aberration 7

Having taken 52 pts of damage, the Lido Beach Horror shudders and chitters out a nauseating whine, ichor spraying in green jets from its wounds.

How!? How did they wound me so from afar? I must take sustenance and retreat to the soothing deeps....

The monster scrabbles after Prue onto the deck of the ship, its lobster-like claws snapping like thunderclaps! 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 grab if hits 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34 dmg if hits 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 4) + 7 = 16

The Lido Beach horror seizes Prue in its monstrous pincer and crushes the fight out of her! Her lungs are too compressed to even scream, and she falls limp in its clutches.

Chuul Aberration 7

Bleeding from several bullet-holes in its mottled carapace, the Lido Beach Horror is in a hissing, squealing frenzy of pain and fury! It closes the final distance with the pontoon, and tries to halt it from sliding into the shallow water by the shore....

Claw 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33, grab 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38

.... It snatches the pontoon by an aft ladder, crimping the metal like it was crumpling cardboard, and the pontoon is dragged to a lurching halt about 10 ft from shore, in shallow water.

The sudden stop threatens to toss the passengers roughly prone or out of the pontoon; Acrobatics checks to maintain balance vs. DC 15 please, from Kinyama, Prue, Lakra, Radsworth, and Cpt Kermit....

Shots 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10 will hit for a total of... two nines, two tens and a one is... 39 damage :p

Prue spins up the machine-gun and unloads, rewarded with sprays of Ichor and goodness knows what else as some few rounds manage to penetrate the surging water behind them and find their mark. She's never handled something like this before, but thanks to her father's near obsession with hunting she was blessedly well prepared for this dark future, in some respects at least.

The Lido Beach Horror emits bloodcurdling keening wails as the .50 caliber rounds rip through chitin and flesh!

How does it sting me so from so far!? I am wounded.....

Chuul Aberration 7

The Lido Beach Horror launches its mass into the surf with a great splash, and begins to surge through the green water toward the pontoon, double-moving through the rough waters 40 ft closer to the pontoon, closing from 300 to 260 ft!

Initiative 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Mmmmmmm.......

Sustenance...... But can it be caught?

Is it too swift for me?

I think not.....

I shall pace it and see.....
