I've just watched the second-to-last episode of the latest series (a two-parter), its a right corker! (and one of my all-time who-loving needs has been finally forfilled!)

SPOILER WARNING (VAGUE AS POSSIBLE)

....Childhood playground arguments about ''who would win between X and Y'' finally laid to rest...

Before AoW's what were you up to?

Why did you decide the AP2 would be the foundation of your next almighty rpg experience?

I was DM-ing a ''high fantasy extravaganza'' in a home brew world and due to some new players (two of them) joining us at the table (around level 23-25) we decided to ''retire'' the ''Heroes of Phalfalnell'' for a month or so and start a more ''down to earth'' and ''retro'' game from 1st level for the new people, some of which hadnt ever played before.

Now we are loving the AoW's so much (from both players and my newly acquired dungeon masters point of view) that we've almost fully forgotten about my crappy old homebrew!

Cant wait for the next AP!

And yeah I know plants can feel ''pain'' too but until I find a way to live on air I'll have to eat them I'm afraid... ;)

I think (as a vegan) that eating animals/insects or anything that feels pain and isnt very nice (unless it was a fresh accidental road kill and I was starving to death at the side of the road...I wouldnt eat meat/dead flesh)

But... if I WAS going to eat the flesh of some dead creature then anyone is fair game.

Maybe they should screen corpes from old peoples homes and hospitals for diseases and then make burgers (or whatever) out of the ''healthy'' dead bodies. You could even have an official : ''I give my body to fast food'' card, like a donor card in the UK just so everyone knows you wish to be eaten when your dead.

''MMmmmmmMMm!''americans would have lots of fatty goodness, lol. (Its OK us brits are catching up as the worlds second fattest population!) ;)

For my group it was: human rogue, human fighter, human archivist, goliath barbarian, human favored soul.

We had a couple of deaths but managed to raise them.

Boxed-set should be the way to go, the SCAP hardcover (although well put together and extremly cool) is not that user-friendly for a DM to use at the table IMO.

A boxed set would allow you to keep all kinds of things open at once, provide a nice place to stash maps, handouts and the odd miniature; the lid could double as a extra DM screen with a nice piece of (campaign-focused) art to tease the players with!

DM only/Player materials and resources like handouts or a booklet intro/guide to the setting would be valuable and could be in seperate booklets (therefore spoiler free for the players) so yeah, I wouls love a boxed set over a hardcover.

Still would buy the Hardcover though.

I have some questions about the Dvati from Dragon magazine #271(updated in Dragon compendium vol. 1):

And I have some answers. :)

Do they share a full-round action together or do they get seperate full-round actions?

A dvati's twins share all of their actions. Between the two of them they get one standard action and one move action (although they can both move in the same move action), two move actions, or one full-round action.

Such as a dvati fighter could get two full attack actions?

No. The dvati twins share a single full-attack action.

But they should share the max. character wealth between them, right?

Yes.

And do a dvati warlock have to focus at the same time when using invocations and eldritch blast or spell-like abilities?

Yes. Only one spell-like ability per round between the two of them.

It's easiest to think of a dvati character as a single character who just happens to have two bodies. The bodies either work together to do the same task, or one body does something and other just watches.

I hope that helps!

If one was to allow a player of dvati twins to let each twin take a set of actions independant of each other (like one player playing two normal characters) but while still requireing the dvati having to both ''concentrate'' to cast spells and spell like abilites and allow the dvati twins to gain hitpoints normally (not have to share them between the two twin bodies) but still share class and xp/level gaining, what sort of level adjustment would you give this ''new and improved'' (IMO) version of the dvati? You see this is how we have been doing things and now the player will be seriously fed-up with these ''changes''.

thank you

I bet Celeste will show up.

Yes Ithane is only large and that mini (although nice) is far too big. The Warmaster scale Dragons (used without the riders) by games workshop are the correct size for Ithane you can get them cheap now.
