THAT JUST MADE MY WEEK!

To see my favorite Doctor, Patrick Troughton, shine in the stories that really made the Doctor the success it became is a dream come true =]

Troughton & Hines, the best Doctor and Companion team ever, had so many excellent stories most of which have been lost for years...

I hope they can get The Abominable Snowmen together, the first appearance of The Great Intelligence (as it has returned recently) would make an excellent addition to my Amazon wishlist!

The Wheel in Space would be nice to see too, first time the Doctor goes by the name John Smith (as dubbed by Jamie).

I see some great series and movies here but for me, right now, it's all about Fairy Tail!

If you haven't seen it yet you should, I'm only 90 episodes in and I'm riveted... I can't believe how many more there are as well as 6 OAVs and a Movie!

One suggestion though stay with the FUNimation dub or just watch the subtitled version, the Animax dub is terrible =\

Holy Moly!

DM Kalizar you are a goldmine of cartoon information (at least in my opinion), that's totally it! It doesn't really look the way I remember it but that shield and throwing disc thing it is!

I am very excited. I don't know how you remembered that one because I found no list of shows from the 80's or 90's anywhere that even hinted at Vytor and as it seems it only had four episodes I can see why.

Still it made a very large impression on me as did the Lensman (which I can only find the movie of, no one seems to have the actual series).

Thanks again to you and Damon Griffin for all your help =]

I don't think Marvel has anything to worry about DC canceled the excellent Young Justice and Green Lantern series in favor of some lame Batman cartoon =\

And the last few DC cartoon movies weren't very good! That Superman movie was actually worse than the Man of Steel flick, which is saying a lot and the Flashpoint story was just not DC at all... it was way too dark.

If I want a dark comic I go to Image or Dark Horse, if I want a gritty-ish hero we have Marvel. If I want a SUPER HERO I go (or would have before the New 52) DC.

In fact DC is more misogynistic now then a BDSM Convention (If you've read Catwoman or Red Hood and the Outlaws you can feel me).

Sure Marvel hasn't been tops recently, the only three cartoons they have really rocked on were also cancelled: Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Spectacular Spider-Man & Wolverine and the X-Men.

But for some reason that terrible Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon is doing well and they have another Avengers cartoon as well as the new Hulk series

I have an open question for anyone who remembers a very obscure cartoon:

It must have been the late 80's early 90's (about the time TMNT were on the air) and a short lived TV series aired (in NY at least) but I cannot remember the name nor can I find anyone who does.

It's a little hazy but the series took place in, perhaps the future, after some cataclysm where now at least part of the world lives like savages. There's this very young (maybe teen aged) son of a tribal leader who has a circular blade he can throw and will come back to him.

One day he meets this girl who looks liked she's from a different show, something Sci-Fi, turns out she lives in a city that floats in the sky.

There's some bad guy or guys and sky-cycles and the girl, who of course is some sort of princess, turned out her father knew of the land dwellers and might have some connection to them.

I think the young man was kind of tan and blonde but that's may not be the case. I think he might have some kind of shield where the circle blade thing connects to and the shield might even allow him to glide or fly... It's been driving me crazy trying to remember this show.

I think I ended up watching it because it was in place of TMNT for a few weeks, possibly on WPIX, but I'm not sure of those dets.

If ANYONE can identify this show or even give more details I'd have to say you might just have the most obscure TV cartoon on this list and it would make my day!

THANK YOU
