Liam was born into a rich Tintalian family. He had a happy childhood, but then things changed when his mother was struck buy an illness. Liam's mother did not survive the illness. Liam's fathered wished to help Liam get over his mother's death, so he decided to send Liam on a trip around the world. So Liam went with some gold from his father, a pendant that belonged to his mother, and a family servant named Markus who Liam trusted most in the world.
On his travels, Liam saw many things, one of the things he saw was a display of martial arts. Liam was so impressed by the diplay that he wanted to learn how to do martial arts himself. So he found a teacher and stayed in the area for years until he had learn all he could. As he continued his travels, he discovered there where other styles of martial arts. When he found a new style he would stay in teh area until he had learned it. He did this for many years, mastering many styles.
Along the way, his friend and travel companion Markus had found a wife. So to not make them move, Liam relieved Markus of his duties. Liam shortly thereafter decided it was time to return home. Along the way he passed through the city of Globeto, where he heard stories of invaders. He was unable to find out any information on the fate of his father though and stated wondering if it would be safe to return to the city of his birth to look for him.
