So is there any organized play options that don't involve your characters being in the Pathfinder Society? It just doesn't appeal to me to have a supposed adventurer who is someone else's mere employee.

First off the easiest thing is just two words, "spiked gauntlet". A bit more involved is taking the pole arms archetype from the advanced player's guide.

Ok first off relax this is not another hate firearms rant.
Now I'm talking my GM into letting firearms into our campaign Forgotten Realms campaign. One of my tactics is to calm down his apprehensions that firearms might overpower the rest of the game(ok yes thats under debate for the sake of argument lets say it's a legitimate fear)is to offer him some countermeasures that could be used. First off i suggested that enchantment bonuses could work against firearms at half or full value even if the base armor gets bypassed. Second that armor could be bullet "proofed" by thickening/face hardening/duplex construction as it was historically with a trade off of increased weight/cost/armor check penalties. So any other suggestions?

Well funny story about one of my PCs unconventional solution to the arcane bond item. First off he chose his bonded item to be a small gold coin, next came the following conversation:
"Hey Bob your cleric has max ranks in heal right?"
"Um ya, nobodies hurt yet though."
"Well could I pay you 75 gold for a moment of your time and a cure light spell?"

And so he had his freindly party cleric make make an incision, implant his bonded item and stitch him up with afore mentioned cure light spell.

It appears to be working normally. However, it does not appear there are any events near your location. What distance are you using to search?

50 miles I belive, but I was getting events on the from the east coast showing up.

Is the event finder broken? I've tried both zip code and longitude/latitude and it will not filter out any events outside the specified area.
