Quirks Marius has a small thin scar above his lip from his dueling days. His hair is long and wavy, curling down past his shoulders. He wears two gold hoop earrings in his left ear. Bar the tiny scar above his lip, Marius is a handsome man with a strong chiseled jaw, high prominent cheekbones and a regal nose. It is this, coupled with his blood red irises and other unsavory details, that has given him the nickname, the Bloody Rose.

BACKSTORY

Born on deck, in the middle of the storm of the century, Marius Freyd came screaming in to the world to the sound of chaos. Life was hard,, Piracy was a lost cause after the scourge of Markadian the 1st. Marius grew up fast and hard, learning the trade from his mother, on the deck of her ship, The Silent Jester. He spent his youth amongst the ropes and ratlines of the rigging, learning the trade as best he could. When he was old enough, he learned the art of the sword, employing it to cut down many a foe, in the pursuit of loot, women or adventure. He became adept with both scimitar and longbow, and used it to defend his extended family, in more than one occasion.

As a young man, he spent his years crawling from bar to bar in ports across the world, employing his skills to woo women and win duels. He fought many a man for many a heart, sometimes for love, most times for lust and rarely, but with relish, for coin.

He became the Lieutenant of his Mothers ship at the age of 22 and learned the role of diplomat and leader. He was well on his way to becoming the next Captain of the ship, when disaster struck.

Not a lot is known about how he came to be imprisoned, the only thing known for certain, is that his family are gone and he is the last surviving member of the Silent Jester. A Captain without a Ship, the Bloody Rose is out for revenge, on the world...
