Ordagg snaps out of his morose mood at the presentation of the gifts. A quick moment of concentration shows them all to be magical. "Where do these come from?" he asks, not to be rude, but so surprised at the nature of the gifts. "Kord knows we'll need every advantage, but this much treasure would make dragons weep."

He proceeds to pull off his goggles and boots to replace them wth the new items.

Dammit! In editing my gear, I saw that I had 2 potions of healing. I thought I had used my only one on Ottar, but I would have had 1 more. Sorry.

Ordagg keeps his head down on the walk back. At one point he walks along side Rin, then Sturdy, and then Ottar and asks each of them the same question: "Do you remember anything?"

At Deimos' home, Ordagg is quick to gather his belongings and suggest the party be off. Focusing on the task at hand seems preferable to brooding on the recent near-failure.

I hate being the last one up. It feels like there are no right choices.
Ordagg watches Rin drop in horror. He takes a second to tend to Ottar before trying to circle around to Rin.Heal check to stabilize Ottar (and maybe roll him so his head is above water): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Move to M2 gaining concealment.

Mordant Rain of Dis vs. G1's Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 281d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 acid damage plus 1d6 ⇒ 1 curse damage, and the target is blinded until the end of my next turn.

Ordagg looks over to Rin, and then up the tunnel, and then at the bodies floating in the water... He shrugs and steps over Ottar's body and swings his hammer wildly. "If it's my time, so be it, but none will remember Ordagg Blackaxe as a coward!" Basic attack vs. F2's AC: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d10 + 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (10) + (6) + 11 = 27

Ordagg hums and thrusts his hand forward, ripping a hole in reality. Another tear appears behind Rin, and Ordagg's hand comes through, grabbing Rin and yanking him through the hole. And Ordagg tumbles out next to Ottar, where he immediately gets to work tending his wounds. Fey switch with Rin. Curse the parasite. Heal check to grant a save or give a +2 to the next save on Ottar: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

The Heal check (DC 15) is a standard action and you must be adjacent. There is no trip action in 4e, it's built into powers.

DM - Is Sturdy's stun effect (save ends)?

He uses his hammer to direct magical fire around the closest giant. DM - Did I hit? And I think you have Rin's power wrong. The targets that were hit are slowed and have -2 attacks (SE). Once they save, like the parasite did, they are knocked prone.

Can sturdy shift back 1? I do better when my enemies are grouped together. Right now though, I have to get out.
Ordagg takes a second to try and find a way out of this. Second Wind as minor.
He takes a step and is magically 15 feet away. Ethereal Stride to L3 (gain +2 defenses).

From the flavor text I can't tell; did the liquid hit the heart, or did the vial just land harmlessly? Can I fey switch with the downed familiar? If the vial did not affect the heart and since Agni dropped the vial, if I fey switched with Agni, would the vial still be at the heart?

Ordagg speaks what sound like nonsense words and his voice takes on an otherworldly bass. The air above the last plant creature tears open and acidic droplets fall.

Ottar, you might want to use misdirected mark to have me mark them. I still have my second wind, I'm not bloodied, and they take damage when they attack me. Does anybody have a potion of healing to help out Rin?
