Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Considering i am the only one really posting, probably a good idea.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Roll call, who is still here besides me and Edwin?

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree will reach down and sign its name in to the book, one of many it has had. Bob Bobertson the third.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

If tree could feel the concept of humor, it is sure it would have found that statement to cause the aforementioned cognitive process. As it was it was ready to get on with the plumbing of the ancient knowledge's well... knowledge.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree reaches in yo his pack and tosses the required amount on the table. If nothing else this should be informative.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree has had enough of the annoyance it currently feels towards the slowness of his companions. Continuing with his pet furry rat thing he continues down the hall to the right.

Plant thing has decided to quickly find the person that it seeks, until we run in to something interesting for it to do.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The mass of bark and fiber that is the being tree grows tired of waiting for its companions to stop gawking at the door and does the first impulsive thing it has done in a while. It shoves itself through the door.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Continues to wait to see if Hiru suddenly dies a painful death.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

I was waiting for others to respond.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The intelligence of wood and fiber continues to wait to see how this will turn. Marveling at the lack of sudden attack from the Jags.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree stands prepared to run if this turns south.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree follows behind, pushing its bulk through the opening.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The mass of bark and twigs approximates a shrug.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree waits to see what the others decide to do, something about flesh sacks requiring periods of inactivity.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree moves on towards his goal.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Musing on the nature of the situation, the ambulatory arboreal abomination watches the conversation. Noting the man's philosophical view and easing a bit. If the man was truly of the brotherhood he would pose no overt threat, although talk of the knights added worry for his companions. Thankfully most of the different groups in the area did not bother with plant life.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The sentient mass of carbon warrily moves its way towards the man, not trusting anything or anyone that could tuen back evolutions mighty progression.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree being forces its will upon the rat beast. Run far and run fast little fur flesh, this command will run till it is out of sight. Once that tree can break its connection and resume its activities, waiting to see if the others continue or then back.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Looks like I am going to have to do something after all. Thought I would be able to stretch this out a bit without having to reveal my hand... oh well, pacifist tree go.

The mass of bark and leaves tries to stealthily sneak up on the rat thing eating the new crab companion, that thing felled him much quicker than the tree had expected. It was time the plant being acted to save these new companions, they may still prove useful at a later date.Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

If it doesn't turn and paralyze me for not being able to sneak up on it.

With all the grace of a bull elephant on a dump truck the tree thing reaches out and attempts to get a grip on the wee little beasty, hungry tendrils attempt to borrow in to the creatures nervous system so as to override the brains control of the body.

Touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
That power hidden under the dm only bar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Sadly I don't know anything about the crab's powers and vice versa so.... Hiru, your gonna have to waste a turn using panacea. Too bad you chose warrior and not white mage.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Come on guys, pacifist tree has managed to take one of the enemies out of the fight. This should be 1/3 as easy for you two.

The mass of wood and leaves continues to inflate his external escape mechanism while making sure to pet his new acquisition fondly. If they held out long enough he should be able to take the rat thing with him. If only he had gone in first, the creatures may have been more susceptible if they had not been distracted by the fleshy ones advance.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree will reach down and pet the critter that has come running to him while he continues to inflate his balloon. Poor beasts must be hungry. Maybe a swarm could be collected and used.

Did not actually notice how good this ability was, having only read the auto hypnosis of int 1 or below creatures. Bonus to charisma is amazing, ability to collect a pack of animals... even better.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Hey GM, if the creatures are of animal intelligence they have to save versus allurement when they are within 15 meters of me. I smell good.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

That tree mentally prepares itself once again to allow its new companions to be eaten by the dangers of the waste. Such brazen actions in this foul land will surely lead to their downfall. A slow hiss begins to build up as the tree being begins to inflate his gas bag.

Was thinking of doing that earlier and holding a rope so I could do some aerial recon but I have been sick this past week with this years flu. For all who are worried it is vomiting and congestion this time around.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The gnarly mass of bark and leaf watches as the newcomers show, taking note of the slung musket a,,nd wondering if the softer of the two had some hidden weapon or glow fueled power. Though he did not fear the creatures he would stay still, maybe they would eat the others and leave him alone.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Sounds good. Run in to a separately paid group doing the same job makes sense. Also Chuck is correct, it is 1d6 per point of con at the start. I just followed hiru without looking myself.

18d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 6, 6, 6, 5, 6, 6, 3, 3, 3, 5, 5, 5, 5, 1, 2) = 74

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Ok, I have given hobbes enough of a wait. I think we have lost him.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Tree stops to watch what is happening, maybe this bubble will do something interesting... or maybe the fleshy creature will make a new friend to yammer on to.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Going to keep walking, if this strange encounter turns out to be hostile I am going to jump in to the undergrowth and blend in.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The Tree continues walking, ignoring the odd sound. If it turns out to be dangerous it could always hide among its kin here.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree thing ignores the constant barrage of oddness coming from his new companion. It now had something to do, add to that it was getting yet more of those currency things. All in all this should keep it occupied for a few weeks, maybe. With a grown of limbs and a purpose of motion the tree starts its long march towards its new target. One thought coursed along every inch of this plant's being, This better be interesting.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Sorry, apparently my last post was gobbled up by goblins. I will make a full post in a few hours.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree waits for the others to ask questions while it quietly points at no on its sign.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree strips off a portion of cardboard and writes in a yes and a no. Holding it up he points to yes with another branch and waits.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

That tree accepts the scroll from the ten-pointed. Without any sign of understanding it runs a soft branch a crossed the page and then places it in a sack held in its branches. Following along with the others it listens calmly as the "Hiru" continues his constant stream of odd sayings and terminology for everything.

When given paint and a cardboard it suddenly becomes animated, whipping around its specialized ranches and began lovingly crafting a sign before attaching it proudly to a branch and placing it in the are. It reads

"BORED.
Will work for experience and money.
"

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Not having handy dirt to write in, that tree ponders the odd actions of sapient animal creatures. It does not try to decide on the nature of the walrus as such things are beyond the scope of its caring.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree runs a specialized branch over the paper, reading the page by the rise of the ink. Suddenly it whips the branch down and starts scrabbling more words in the dirt. "I have not met one of your kind, you are interesting. May I study you?"

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

The tree begins to scratch a new message in to the hard clay, "Thank you, if he does not have work for me I will be back to mix drinks." at which point the tree starts heading his slow meandering way towards the largest building he saw floating over the city.

Sentient weeping willow thing. Scout 1

Nearly four meters of plant seems to materialize in the doorway with a groaning noise, branch and trunk and root strain to twist in to a mass that can make it through the door. After what sounds like an eternity, the tree gives up and plants itself in the clay dirt outside. This societal interaction was going to be more difficult than it originally planned for. For now it would stand, a mighty willow in this town, waiting for something to come near enough to interact with. In the ground it begins to carve out a message that reads "Bored, give me a job please."

After an hour of puzzling it over, I can not think of one thing that I could possibly justify a sentient ambulatory mass of branches could possibly use. It just seems so self sufficient, also the lack of truly manipulative appendages aside from two specialized "Tentacle" vines and the natural ac higher than any armor at this level kind of precludes me from using combat equipment. May just collect domar and be mostly pacifistic, actually fits the power set.

1d10 ⇒ 10

Difficult finding a plant icon that isn't man shaped for some reason. So, how are we handling starting dromar?
