About Thalanerus
A methodical elf who appreciates the beauty of precision, he believes in taking the view of the long run and sees snap decisions as ugly things. Especially in personal matters, his intuition has been proven faulty.
Emigrating from his Kyonin homeland, he studied in Galt until the Revolution came, then fled south instead of into Andoran. After months of research and planning, he joined the Pathfinder Society in order to ensure that the spread of information about the world would reach his homeland.
Though he majored in Evocation, he refuses to be a part of the purely destructive stereotype that evokers endure. Out of respect and aesthetics, he is able to modify his more violent spells to avoid causing ugly scars or burns. He also sees bone-shattering weapons as excessively brutal. He also hates being ignored.
He carries an extra notebook for writing down the names and a short description of everyone he expects to meet again, so as not to forget about them.
