Male Elf Ranger 1

Nodding in agreement to Khronos and Gratitudes plan Teven says "Lets do it."

Male Elf Ranger 1

"Not with out alerting the other goblins. There is no way for me to sneak up on it without a goblin noticing." Says Teven in response to Gratitudes question.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Well if you are leaving it up to me lets say 10 minutes ahead of the group.

After seeing the goblins along the stream Teven makes his way back to the group and tells Khronos and Gratitude about the goblins saying. "Up ahead near a stream are two goblins and a dog like creature. When i saw them one of the goblins and the dog appeared to be asleep. I believe that it would be advantageous to capture one of the goblins to interrogate it about the camp."

Male Elf Ranger 1

Hmm, so if I understand the first post correctly I'm 20 minuets ahead of the group? So it would take 40 minuets to get back to the group and then get the group back here?

Male Elf Ranger 1

DM

Spoiler:
What I want to do is sneak up and kill the sleeping dog and goblin then try and capture the living one and take it back to the others so that we can interrogate it.
Correct me if I'm wrong or if the stealth check fails, what I think this entitles is a stealth check and then a Coup De Grace
Stealth (1d20+8=11)
Coup de grace Twin Strike (1d20+7=22, 1d20+7=18) vs the dog.
Dmg if first hits 8 + 1 + 6 = 15 ( the 6 is from hunters quarry )
Dmg if second hits 8 + 6 = 14
Dmg if both hit 23
Hopefully this works out how I want it to and I can now try and sneak up on the sleeping goblin, otherwise I'm in trouble.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Teven is content listening to the leaders discussion and leaving the decisions to them.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Disturbed after hearing what Adar said about the goblin Teven stands with Adar, Varlis, and Gratitude listing to Gratitude for a moment before he and his two recruits head out into the woods. They spend the night seeking and searching for any sign of the goblins any clue that could lead them on the path to the goblins that planned the attack. They do not return to camp untill after dawn.

If Teven finds anything he will report it Khronos. I assume you need rolls if not just ignore. And it looks like invisiblecastle. is down so just make any roll you need for me.

Khronos wrote:
"I leave the decision to track or not to you, my friend. Talk to Adar as well, he has some knowledge of the goblins in these woods, but please be gentle, the experience wasn't good." He nods in the direction of the young warlock, hoping tonights events hadn't shaken him too badly.

With the decision left in his hands Teven recruits Marsel and Timon, two of the refugees who seamed to treat Teven with respect, to join him. He then seeks out Adar ask. "What can you tell me of the goblins in these woods? I plan to track the once who attacked us and see if they are a part of a larger party."

Male Elf Ranger 1

After Khronos has addressed the refugees Teven approaches him and asks. "What will we do now will we stay here the rest of the night or should we begin on the march once again? Either way I believe we should send out a small tracking party to see if we can find where the Goblins came from and if they are preparing more raids against us."

When he finally rises, he moves purposefully towards Teven, his very raw emotions still plain to see.

"Forgive my rudeness. I am Gratitude Turathsloss. Very much at your service and the service of all Woodcroft."

"You did well in the fight, Woodcroft is lucky to have you." Says Teven in reply to Gratitude. "We should see what we can do for the wounded and help calm the others."

Move to k26
Twin Strike vs G1
Main Hand (1d20 7=17, 1d8 1=9)
Off Hand (1d20 7=13, 1d8=2)

Male Elf Ranger 1

Charge at g5 (I'm not sure if Q26 or R26 is the closer square they seam equal distant do to diagonal movement)
Charge (1d20+8=28) Thats a crit so 13 damage.

Male Elf Ranger 1

With a worried look at the fighter and warlord. Teven knows there just out of reach for him to do any thing and so he lunges at the wolf who have surrounded Khronos.

Move to R18
Twin Strike w2
Main Hand (1d20+7=9, 1d8+1=4)
Off Hand (1d20+7=16, 1d8=8)

Male Elf Ranger 1

Hearing the commotion to the south of him Teven Draws his weapons then then moves to the south.

Move to w14
Drawing both Longswords (2 minor actions)
So I'm done
FYI according to the table on pg289 Stowing and Equipping a shield is a Standard action but I'm all for playing it as a minor and wish the DM in another game I'm playing in would play it like that would make my fighter a lot more fun.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Only thing Teven has that effects the others is the elf perception bonus. He doesn't have any Interrupts.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Perception (1d20+8=26), Initiative (1d20+3=13)
He is asleep at z8

Male Elf Ranger 1

With a polite bow of his head Teven says. "I would be happy to share a meal with you."

Male Elf Ranger 1

With a big smile Teven says. "It appears like the leader of this mary band has delegated responsiblilitys."

Khronos Utharion wrote:
"Now, Teven, what do you feel is the best place for us to aim for as a final destination. Let us give these people something to hope for."

"For now we continue along the easter edge of the forest headed for Ustalav, once there we will see what we find."

Male Elf Ranger 1

Teven has nothing to add to this discussion he feels that his roll in this is to be a tactical adviser on how the Razmirans army thinks and will leave the decision of who is the the leaders leader to the other.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Teven plans to scout head much like the previous day. He will move out an hour ahead of the refugees If he finds anything interesting or threatening he will return to caravan and report it.

Nature Perception Stealth (1d20+8=13, 1d20+8=17, 1d20+8=18)
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to roll so I just rolled everything I did last time.

Are you heading toward the center of the forest? Skirting the lakeshore? Striking northeast to get out of the forest just across the border?

Don't believe I got an answer to this.

Teven would suggest that that the group move along the northeast of the forest for speed believing that the Ramirians are at there back and that they must move as fast as possible. He will how ever not object and will defer the decision to any of the groups leaders if thy feel that moving through center of the forest is preferred. He will however severely object to any thought of moving along the cost fearing that the Razmirians could use boats to get ahead of the group and ambush them.

DM

Spoiler:

Teven will ignore those who give him the cold shoulder leavening them alone understanding where the resentment is coming form. As for those that treat him well he will be friendly with them and take meals with them if it dose not they will have him at the table. While talking to people he will focus on the village he came from trying to avoid talking about the Razmirians or his time in the army. He will do his best to change the subject from Razmirians as often as possible while in casual conversation.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Teven replies to Khronos by saying "I do not know what path your life has taken you but I feel you do not understand the gravity of are situation. At present we believe we have a three day head start on the Ramirians and though I took every possible precaution to avoid detection when I defected we do not know if I was successful furthermore, and let it be said that I accuse no one of this and have no knowledge to confirm it, we do not know that there was not a spy planted here. Who at this very moment is not running back to his masters to warning them that I have alerted you to there advance."

Taking a moment of pause to let his words sink in Teven looks around at the preparations being made for there departure then looks back at Khronos and says. "If some how the Ramirians are able to get ahead of us and prepare an ambush we are doomed if we do not have time to divert the caravan and avoid the ambush all together. It is dangerous work I know this but it is not the first time I have done it nor gods willing will it be the last but for the sake of all those around us now its work that must be done.

Once his exchange with Khronos is over he departs to scout ahead of the caravan.

Nature (1d20 8=24)
Sorry about takeing so long to get back to posting last two days have been very busy.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Teven informs the group of five that had been gathered the night before that he will leave troop arrangement to them and that he will be leavening three hours ahead of the caravan. His plan is to scout out a route for them to take for. He will do this for an hour to an hour and a half before turning back to join the caravan hopefully before or just after they depart. Further more he assures his new allies that should he see any thing that concerns him he will immediately turn around to warn them.He will somewhat reluctantly except up to two companions to join him as long as he believes they can move fast though the wild terrain and that they will not draw undo attention to the scouting party.

Essentially hes acting as a look ahead trying to find anything that might slow them down or endanger them. I'm rolling Perception because thats what I believe is needed for this as well as stealth because if theres anything out there like o a Ramirian army I don't want them to see me.

"And if they can not find the direction I have little daught that I cannot. No it is not finding Ustalav that should concern us but the Razmirans at are backs who we should fear." Says Teven.

"What will happen to your sister and family when the Rasmir find out what you have done?..."

Teven, obviously agitated, looks at Varlis with a frustrated frown and says in very low very calm voice. "Did you not hear me says that they have killed my sister. All the family I had died with her." He takes a moment to collect him self then begins for the door once more only to hear Narwyn call for him to hold. He turns to listen to her speak as a small child approaches him. With little interest in what Algrim is saying he squats down tilts his head and asks the child in a low voice so as not to be heard. "What is your name." The child tilts his head copying the Elf's action and says. "Uriel." Before he can ask the child any other question....

Kaelynne Cooper wrote:
"Oh, I'm sorry, he's at that painfully curious stage"

The child's mother says. Teven looks up at the child's mother then stands and smiles for the first time in several days and says. "Nothing to apologize about. He seams like a good kid. But for his sake we should both be paying more attention to Algrim." Teven then turns and begins to listen in earnest to the plans that Algrim is laying out.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Looking at those gathered in front of him Teven, obviously agitated, takes a deep breath then says. "For the past 15 years I have served in the army of the false god." The words "false god" he says this with such venom and hatred that those in the room are taken back, they see murder in this elf's eyes. "And they repay this loyal service by taking from me a home and a station and worst of all they have killed my sister!" Taking the letter sent to him two days ago he hands it to Bray. Then takes a step back and another deep breath calmer he says. "They are coming for you and will be here in 3 days. If you fight they are 200 strong and I see little chance of success, I have seen this before. If you run then those who run fast may live. Regardless if you will have me then I will join you; my time serving false gods is over." Having told them his warning and making his offer Teven leaves the room to allow them to discuses there options and await there decision on his fate.

Hopefuly not too much melodrama. And if there is, well you told me to wing it.

Male Elf Ranger 1

Heres my character I just kinda winged it on the background so let me know if any thing doesn't fit the region.
