About Teven

Background
Fifty years ago when Razmir founded the nation of Razmiran and claimed the small village that Teven lived in as it's own it was no concern to Teven. Thirty years later the village was more a town and much more noticed by the Razmirans so it came as no surprise to anyone when the Razmirans sent a governor. Until this point Teven had worked as a local deputy for the town sheriff but as is often the case when a new government takes over the old government and its officials are replaced. The sheriff Teven and the two other deputies had been forced out of the positions that some of them had held for nearly twenty years; but the new governor in what he believed was a generous offer, offered them positions as warriors in the local militia. It was while serving on the town militia that Teven's skills as a scout became apparent to his superior officers who quickly put him in for promotion from militia warrior to regular army soldier. The pay raise that this brought was quite substantial and so Teven took the promotion and was sent off to join the regular army.

Unlike Teven his sister Lia was concerned by the new governors arrival. A priestess of Desna Lia was not inclined to pay lip service to Razmir. For fifteen years Lia was able to stay one step ahead of the Razmirans and conceal her ministry. Every precaution had been taken when the preparations for a celebration had been made by the followers of Desna, they had found a clearing deep in the woods where they would gather at night to celebrate Desna. It was on a spring day when the Razmirans finely caught up with Lia some how the Razmirans had found the clearing and had waited for the followers of Desna to arrive. It was a massacre the only one to made it out was Lia and that was so that the Rasmirans could parade her around town as an example of what happens to heretics. She died two days later after being impaled on a pike in the center of town for all to see.

Two days ago Teven received a letter from a friend informing him of his sisters fate.

  • Prime Shot: If none of your allies are nearer to your target than you are, you receive a +1 bonus to ranged attack rolls against that target.
  • Hunter's Quarry: Once per turn as a minor action, you can designate the enemy nearest to you as your quarry dealing extra damage (+1d6).

  • Toughness You gain an additional 5 hit points at each tier of play (at 1st, 11th, and 21st level).
