Appearance
--------------------
Tetrio's light-magenta skin is as distinct as the reverent mark on his forehead. His face is not youthful, per se, but certainly fresh and unweathered for one of his age and experience. His dark hair is often unkempt, and flows in the breeze but is short enough that it doesn't need to be managed. His eyes sometimes glow a different color, often when he is focused on assessing something or marking a particular emotion that aligns with an element. Finally, you notice that only his left cheek is adorned with a light patch of freckles. For a few minutes after he wakes up, his skin seems to take a "bronzy" sheen.
Tetrio's outfit is always deliberate and intended to express his competence and reliability. His utilitarian breeches and vest are always well-cleaned, and of very light colors to keep cool in the heat. It is his jewelry that marks his membership in the house Espin. Drooping earings on silver chains with emerald studs. Hanging at the bottom are thin, 1-inch plates bearing the Espin family mercantile seal on one side, and the golden key of Abadar on the other. An amulet of an thumb-sized, tourmaline raindrop framed and chained in gold.
--------------------
Behavior and Personality
--------------------
Tetrio does not hide his unusually-colored skin, though he finds questions about his background a little rude and invasive.
Initial he is very business-like with new individuals, holding his initial impression of reliability and competency beyond all else.
His style of pride is very subtle, humble bragging at most, and often goes unnoticed when others don't need something from him.
He wishes for others to respect his trade as a merchant, and apart from his ancestry inquire on and trust the good standing of the merchant house that he hails from.
As Tetrio ventures forth, he often reflects on the influence of his inherited elements, and how they affect his successes and failures. He often finds reasons for those in his ancestry. He is constantly trying to parse elemental cycles out of his own moods, health, and the events of his life.
Externally, he continues to present an even-handed front worthy of Abadar.

You Might...
--------------------
[ol]
[li]Relate your personal identity with the mixture of elements within you, believing you have sides that befit each element.
[li]Work to harmonize or broker peace and understanding in the world around you.
[li]Be prone to bragging, both about your own accomplishments and those of your family or allies.
[li]Prepare for the worst while improvising as necessary, impressing your allies when you're able to handle anything that fate throws at you.
[li]Assume everything is connected on a deeper level, rather than be content with what you find on the surface.
[li]Obsess over a certain supernatural phenomenon, attempting to tie everything back to it.

Others Probably...
--------------------
[ul]
[li]Rely on you for your elemental abilities and expertise.
[li]Think you must be descended from a janni, if they recognize that you are a geniekin at all.
[li]Assume your position at the nexus of opposing elements means you are a neutral diplomat.
[li]Look to you to learn the weaknesses of a supernatural threat when one rears its head. Even when your explanations are invented on the fly, they just seem to work.
[li]Rely on you to come up with a solution when the situation seems hopeless.
[li]Mistake you for a common wizard or magician.

Background
--------------------
Merchant house Espin of Katapesh has intermingled with jann of many elements over the generations. Those who reveal their otherworldly heritage in adolescence are marked to either inherit station in the family business or else venture out into the world in search of increasingly exotic wares and tips on fertile, untapped markets.
It is the second role that Tetrio took when his otherworldly touch emerged. While some of his siblings and cousins were hungry for the prospect of daily trade, bargain, and local advancement of the house, Tetrio aspired to range far and wide, to see how other cultures do business, and what they value in trade.
Additionally, his interest in his lineage is such that he begins delving into the mystical in search of answers about his jann influence. In this he begins to come across particularly interesting items in his trade, which seem to aid him day-to-day, in small ways.
