I don't know but it's Open Source ands a free download, and maintained in an attempt to keep up with Micro$oft Office, so I guess it's reasonably common.

Mostly I use Libre Writer and Libre Calc, in place of Word and Excel, although I still have a few Excel spreadsheets that haven't been converted yet.

Libre Office also had no problem with it, especially given it was a 'Draw' document. Converted to PDF, applied to PC and filed.
