I don't think you have a conflict with the Stormwind Fallacy. I think you are unhappy with the misuse of the Stormwind Fallacy. This is not the fault of the idea, nor of the original Tempest Stormwind; it is the fault of those who misuse the Stormwind Fallacy.

This thread seems to have a lot of these things: Strawmen Wilful misunderstanding False Dichotomy Fallacious over-simplification of complex theories. Which is quite depressing: the caricature of Communism on page 1 is a ripper but it went downhill well before that.
