Thanks to Zoomba for running, and to my fellow players for carrying this mission.

I was part of a fairly large charity event a couple weeks ago, and work has been a bear. I feel a little bad that I couldn't give this game the attention that it deserved.

In any case, I enjoyed myself, and I am thankful to the chance to participate.

Teleemo settles in and assists with plotting courses through the asteroids and toward the beacon.

He also rests and works on getting rid of his radiation sickness.

Teleemo moves forward so he can see the action around the swarm.

Still staggered (and weakened). Can't do anything else. May be able to cast a spell next round if this continues.

Teleemo will use one more dispel magic spells on himself.

Not gonna do it. Bummer.

Teleemo is thoroughly irradiated (and slowed).

He'll still attempt to dispel the magic slowing Azara.

Teleemo will specifically target Kat with the dispel. Slow nerfs operatives in a nasty, nasty way. By the way, I did my due diligence reading dispel again. It's a little convoluted (as the spell affects different types of spells and items differently), but I now see that it works this way. SO, it looks like Azara and Teleemo are still slowed. I may use my other third level spell slot to try to knock it off Azara next turn.

Noticibly slower, Teleemo attempts to counter Dortay's magic with some of his own.

Casting dispel magic. DC to counter slow is 11 + the spell's caster level. I roll a d20 and add caster level.

Agreeing that it may be best to deal with this Dortay now, Teleemo takes up a position with his fellow Starfinders. "It would not be nice to leave this menace for someone else to deal with. The correct application of violence NOW will prevent bloodshed in the future."

I would like to thank all of the rest of you for carrying this adventure. I have only been able to half pay attention--I was involved in an excellent charity event today, and the past 10 days have been preparation for it. It so happens that it was a Dungeons and Dragons event benefitting a local homeless advocacy. I ran a table and provided many 3D printed minis. It was a great success.

Teleemo is horrified by the thought of someone mummifying themselves. "Why would someone do that? Undeath is decidedly NOT life!"

He attempts to parse out some facts on what this could be all about.

Alarmed by the exploding grenade, Teleemo cautiously flies forward to see the cause. Taking note of the lurking lashunta, Teleemo considers what might be causing this jump to violence.

Not wishing to hurt an innocent creature, Teleemo opts to cast charming veneer, then attempt to engage the lashunta. "There is no need for violence! You don't need to join anyone! Put your weapons down and talk with us!"

Teleemo nods and whispers back. "I don't know. The being known as Rishni seems helpful. Sadly, it always seems as though it's easier to arrive than it is to leave. What's the expression I'm looking for? Maybe 'you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.'"

Teleemo is already sporting his professional (and very formal) singing waiter clothing upon arrival at Absalom Station. "I hope debriefing will be...uhhh...BRIEF. I need to make dinner service at the restaurant. There should be some excellent tips to be made tonight!"

Teleemo will also be leveling--possibly from 7 directly to 9 by virtue of an AP volume I just finished.

I'll try to get that in order tonight.

Exo-Guardians

Teleemo takes out his pistol and draws a bead on the beast to the beast. Seeing that they appear ready to slip away, he hesitates.

Will hold action. If one of them attacks, he'll fire his pistol at it.

Exo-Guardians

Teleemo fishes out an old battery he has stashed in a pouch and throws it toward the beasts.

Casting explosive blast, which requires a battery. The target is the grid intersection as shown with the red "X" on the map. This has a 20' blast radius, so it appears it will catch all four of the beasties and just miss Azara (though she might not have eyebrows after this goes off). It will do the below damage, DC 19 REF save for half.

damage, fire: 9d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 6, 1, 4, 3, 2, 4) = 32

Teleemo rounds the corner of the cargo pod he was near and throws his grenade.

Throwing toward the red "X" intersection--it's a 20' diameter blast, so that should get all of the creatures.

Teleemo moves forward, nervously fondling the grenade that was found earlier.

He has it in his hands, and holds it up for Kat5e to see as he steps near her.

Edit to add stealth roll, though he isn't getting as close as Mahari yet...on second thought...

As Teleemo passes by Kat5e, he also turns invisible.

Casting the spell on himself.

Teleemo whispers into comms so everyone, especially Mahari, knows that he is approaching behind her.

Teleemo is under the impression that Nimh can actually see this thing. With that in mind, he reaches over to him, casts a spell, and touches his weapon.

Hearing Nimh call out that something is near the table, Teleemo flies forward, pulling out one of the screamer grenades as he does.

Rounding the corner, he tosses the grenade in the general vicinity of the table.

Tossing it to the marked intersection on the map. This is one additional range increment past the first one. I just need to hit a 5, so as long as I don't roll a 1...

to hit: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 11 - 2 = 14
damage, S: 2d10 ⇒ (1, 7) = 8

DC18 save for half damage. Failure gives anyone affected by the blast the deafened condition for 1d4 minutes. It's a 20' blast, so I don't think any Starfinders are within the blast.

Teleemo cleans himself up, and spends a few moments helping staff clean up the mess he made. He whispers to one of the wait staff, and finds out what Vekkhad has been drinking. He then orders one, and takes it over to him.

"I apologize, I was attempting to share some jocularity. It was not my attention to make a mess at your formal reception here. I took the liberty of having your efficient staff make a drink for you..."

Teleemo then engages Vekkhad in some of the history of his home planet of Elytrio, including some of the gods the various subspecies have worshipped in the past.

Assuming Mahari shares her findings regarding Tioran's interest in musical performance...

Teleemo grabs a veritable armload of cups, saucers, and a small tray of olives. As he nears Tioran, he mentions "you know, while your quartet is setting up, I thought I might do a little number I like to perform back on Absalom Station at my day job."

With that, he beg humming a tune as he stacks each cup and saucer, placing a single olive in each cup. With the cups and saucers in two stacks, he begins singing an old Vercite polka he learned on his Absalom music circuit. At the height of the performance, his wings extend, he grabs the cups and saucers, and tosses the olives one by one into the air. As each olive begins its downward turn, Teleemo dives under it in such a way that the olive ends up in his mouth.

Teleemo does insist on a quick stop back at the hotel. He has his more formal performance clothes there, and it seems appropriate to put them on before the reception.

After enjoying a small plate of food and some good wine, he sees director D'Salaz across the room.

"Oh Director D'Salaz! Hello! I am Teleemo from the Starfinder Society! I thought we might have a bit of a chat. As you might know, we are interested in doing some research at one of your properties." Teleemo takes a sip of his wine and continues. "This is a fine reception. This wine is indeed some of the finest I have ever had. Back on Absalom, there is a wine bar I often perform at as a singer, and they have a wide variety of spirits there that are imported from across the galaxy. Perhaps they would be interested in acquiring this."

Sigh. I really have no idea what direction to go with this. Teleemo has a few skills that might be useful, but his sense motive isn't very good. I think I will roll and hope for the best. Maybe someone will let him know over comms if his mysticism, diplomacy, culture, or profession (singing waiter) comes into play.
