Teka stops behind one of the pillars as she takes one of the serums the Starfinders had supplied the party. She winces a bit as her wounds start to mend and she responds to Maxamas, "I'm glad your confidence wasn't at all affected. I will count my lucky stars though that I managed to stay in one piece with all these chronological beasts tearing through making a ruckus. Just the glare from those hounds was enough to bring me low."

As Teka closed her eyes she thought of her future. She was looking forward to seeing her grandchildren gathering around her all wanting to know about the grand adventure she had just been on.

She was telling them of finding puzzles within the deserts of Akiton and how her team resolved them. She handed out paints and plastic planets for the children to play at solving the puzzles, or in once case repaint the surface Eox with pink flowers.

Along the way she tells stories of the people she met during the adventure. She tells the children of the colorful, wonderful party members she had met. Although she does omit facts like Srudez's smoking habit. She also tells the party of the friends they met within the tomb. Of Felise, the silent librarians, and the inevitable sentinel. She showed some common signs to the children although it was not as silent as the library was. One of the children proudly announced that they were going to grow up to be an inevitable.

That was enough to let her bear the pain as she stood back up and readied once more along her fellow Starfinders.

I do think those elements are still covered by what Hmm said.

Creatures can repair themselves, but there are often limits to what can be done, especially when talking about millennia of change. I'm certain there are stories of characters, if not in Starfinder, that have lived that long, but are dramatically different than what they were in the past or are more akin to celestial beings like outsiders or deities.

As to Magic Mailbox, there are many Pathfinder spells in earlier editions that ended up getting rewritten to account for planetary travel. Several spells that worked across planes instead are limited to the planet. That doesn't mean these spells changed, but that they never allowed for traversing space. The same goes for Magic Mailbox, even though it has little described limit, it is likely in part because few people could actually even test to see of Magic Mailbox works across planets.

If space travel was far more common in PF2, Magic Mailbox would be limited to transferring items across the planet.

GM: For the ripping gaze, does succeeding mean you take no damage or half damage?

Teka winces as she feels cuts tear through her armor as she falls back toward the gate. She pauses a moment to look toward Kneepuncher as she leaves him to deal with the entangled hound. "Kneepuncher, are you alright? Let me know if you feel sluggish at all and I can pick you right back up."

If Kneepuncher is slowed and can't remove it Teka can use Don't Quit on him to suppress it. I think he might have access to a haste ability that might be able to counter the slow effect himself though.

She takes aim at one of the hounds that have moved farthest into the room and takes the shot once she sees Kneepuncher is fine.

Using the temporal distortions to her benefit Teka rushes forward at incredible speed and draws another of the Pathfinder sticky bomb grenades near the entrance hamper the hound's movement.

In the wake of the dinosaur crashing to the ground Teka takes the moment to try to inspire all her Starfinder allies. "Dears, shake off the pain and stand up tall. You are among the strongest of the Society and set a fine example, most of the time, to many of the younger groups that fight alongside us."

"We can push through and set things right here and bring Felise's friend back through time. No matter what creatures we face: massive crabs, spectral undead, freezing drakes, techno-dinosaurs, stand up robots, or even these Tindalos hounds. As we put our heels into the ground, we will persevere.

I've been tracking damage and right now after, the dinosaur slam, the damage totals are:

There were still a few reflex pending for Daata and Zargothrax:
Daata (0 Damage)
Zargothrax (12 damage)

Both are looking at 27 force damage, half if they make a DC 17 Reflex save.

In any case though no one has hit point damage as of yet.

That said, after seeing Srurdez get hit pretty hard by that shockwave, I will be using inspiring oration to restore 25 SP to the party as my last action of the previous fight. I'll post in there but the damage totals I have (which if they are off let me know).

"Fortunately it looks like those augmentations that big beast has are vulnerable to electricity."

Daata, I'll be using my Don't Quit ability on you to suppress confusion if you fail your will save.

I'm assuming Maxamas and Srurdez are no longer confused, if not (and Daata isn't confused) I'll keep suppressing Maxamas's confusion.

"This is very good! With just a few hiccups here and there you all have nearly taken care of these ghasts from the stars. Keep at it though and we will have this settled in a moment."

Teka continues to look to keep others focused despite the mind warping abilities of the undead. Throughout she keeps her weapons ready if she has an opening to take a set of shots.

While your first shot was very well effective against those things sapping away at Zargothrax's speed, that red specter floating about is is an incoporeal ghost that the ghostkiller weapon was made for. She continues to focus on guiding and advising Maxamas to continue to suppress the confusion as she falls back to another corner of the room.

"Everyone be careful of Srurdex, I'm a bit busy keeping the confusion from setting into Maxamas."

Standard, Don't Quit on Maxamas to suppress confusion another turn. Move to move.

Maxamas, I'm using don't quit. That means you will ignore the confused condition this round.

"Oh don't give up so quickly Maxamas!". Teka calls out from the other end of the room. "I've seen you keep your focus through worse! As long as your mind is as steady as your aim you can't do no wrong!"

Teka uses her voice to keep Maxamas in the fight by telling him to Don't Quit.

Kneepuncher, while you aren't going to be confused in any case (because even if you are, I will be suppressing it), I think you need to make a Will save vs the undead confusion aura.

Kneepuncher, just so I don't bury this, I want to make sure you catch that I'm going to remove your confusion if you fail the Will save.

Seeing momentary flashes of disorientation as the undead approach Teka takes a number more steps backward as she tries to avoid immediately combating the creatures.

She calls out to her allies, "just focus now and keep your mind on your training and you will just be fine. Quitting here is no option, so don't let these floating specters sending you into a spiral. Just keep your mind resolute and I promise I'll make an extra batch of cookies for you when this is all over."

I'm going to be probably using Don't Quit as a standard action on one ally.

With this (and long-range improvisation) I can suppress the confusion condition on one ally within 120 feet until the start of my next turn.

Hopefully only one person is confused, but if there are multiple people, I rather use on Kneepuncher (or whomever is acting next).

If no one is confused, I will shoot the white time eater with double tap.

Teka pushes very close as she comes near the center of combat as she draws one of the ancient Pathfinder sticky bomb grenades and throws it into the center of the crab attackers.

Moving and throwing a grenade will likely provoke from Red and Blue. Targeting the same intersection as Zargothrax's explosive blast.

Teka begins examining the set of bottles as she notes, "it looks like these are a chemical-based grenade. This would create some nasty burns, although not as bad as what Zargothrax has been throwing out." Teka takes one of the explosive bottles and may scavenge some more once others had a chance to examine them.

"You would be correct Zargothrax." Nodding to Maxamax, Teka will pull out her datapad and begin taking notes on the glyphs. "Sometimes one has to buckle down and not take shortcuts, let me see if I can parse this bit by breaking down the little glyphs into smaller parts. Hopefully that will give us the direction we need."

After a bit of examination of the glyphs Teka tells the others, "I don't believe these are words or letters from any language, but are rather are mystical symbols. I don't think there will be a nice little word we can rearrange them into."

"I think I could take on most of the bits of these, although the nature of the mystical isn't something I've picked up on. I could pick up on trying decipher what these glyphs mean. I have been rather slow at it before though, still I hope I may have picked up a little now."

Teka is a bit relieved to see the passage open forward as she claps her hand together in a delight.

"I'm sure Zargothrax has a gentle touch and wouldn't twist off the statues hand with too firm of a shake." Teka does look a bit of thought about this idea as she questions, "right Zargothrax?"

Teka moves about the room and carefully inspects the area especially wary of the signs of flame on the double door.

Teka is just about to take a hand as Zargothrax preempts here. "I will say I do fee safe here. I don't want to be lulled into a trap, but it is at least a comforting feeling"

Teka happily bows as she returns her set of gloves and nods to the others.

They are quite exceptional. I would be grateful to visit again on another day.

Teka seems especially energized from the exploration of the library and curious to where the deeper halls of the ruins might lead and what lovely stories they might contain.

Back within the Starfinder camp Teka looks about the equipment as she shops around. "I've been getting quite a run today going through all these ruins today. It has been quite wonderful so far though. Finding all sorts of new people to talk to and ancient places to see. Kinbara did an especially amazing job on those translations. My apologies for not being able to give proper recognition before."

"Even still, I know we still might be in for some surprises going forward and I'm hoping to make sure I'm ready as can be." Looking over at the weapons Teka says, "that encounter with those dreadful machines went very well with your quick thinking. I was thinking about picking up another of those resin grenades in case we come against another group I can slow down."

She then looks toward Daata this time drawing her datapad and beginning to run an analysis on the contents.

Teka looks over at Srurdez as she moves her hands, pausing several times as she works out a response to Srurdez. She quietly responds to Srurdez, "Bless your heart. Yes, I do think they would mind. Have you been to any archive that let you smoke those?"

Hearing Zargothrax, Teka nods as she accept his help to try to work with him and Daata on parsing the information. She does waggle her fingers in response to Zargothrax's cursing though.

Teka wears the white gloves and moves about the room and tries to read the phasing wall carvings and then circling around to around the tables, carefully glancing at the various notes.

Teka shakes her head as she finds nothing that exceptionally catches her attention and she focuses on shifting carvings as she looks to see if she can tell if the carvings engravings are consistent btween the shifts or if they vary on each change from blank to filled.

Responding in kind Teka explains their goals here in Ysoki sign. We are explorers, members of the Starfinder Society, an organization devoted to research, investigation and learning. Teka nods courteously as she returns the bow. Teka moves her hands and gestures to the other Starfinders as she tries to communicate with sign language toward the librarian guardians.

If they understand she introduces the various members of the Starfinder team and herself. She briefly explains their goals as exploration and knowledge gathering.

That is fair since it would stall you for a turn of trick attacks I think.

However, and I could be wrong, I think I was reading their DR as 15.
