Ted watches the exchange with his usual feigned indifference. As the files are passed around he take one of his always present index cards from his front pocket, and makes a few notes mixing in several languages, so that it makes no sense to anyone but him. A little research ahead it seems. And to think he was only hours ago setting in the mobile field lab on Lake Lure running samples through the analyzer...still it was good to be doing something different for a change. "Well I'm all for checking out his pad". "Might come up with something there". Maybe a cell phone or computer I can work on". Ted is dressed in torn jeans, hiking boots, and a faded Aerosmith T-shirt. He has long hair, and a scraggly beard, and looks much like a drop out from the 70's...till you see his eyes, and the keen intellect behind them.
