Tartarus is a strange creature, a formless mass of muscle and flesh that can change it's general shape into tentacles, sheets, fins, and everything in between, though mimicking fine details like pointed elf ears are not so easy. Her race are darkmorphs or shadowmorphs.
They have emotions, but those emotions sit backseat to their logical and practical natures. They are also rather independently minded, living alone or with a couple family members.
They believe they were an experiment in creating artificial life, which may be true given that they are healed by negative energy and harmed by positive energy.
They are predatory, eating meat in addition to other things, and are nocturnal. These traits of being night-time solitary hunters of whatever catches their fancy has gotten them the label of monsters.
However, they are quite smart and use magic to compensate for any physical weakness or incapability.
Tartarus is a fine example of her species, though she is a bit more curious than normal.
Tartarus went looking for a place of her own and went so far the she actually came across a road. She found people using the road, and sometimes raided them to get the trinkets and other interesting and strange things, but especially books.
On one occasion not so long ago, she set up a soldier who happened to be scouting ahead for a troop of soldiers. Much more disciplined and capable than any people she had encountered before, their skill caught her off-guard, and their teamwork allowed them to corner and capture her.
She doesn't like these soldiers at all, but she is smart enough to have learned how they beat her, through teamwork.
Appearance:
Tartarus is a blob of flesh and muscle tht can shift her form. Her skin is black, absorbing light. She generally wears nothing, but when needed, she will wear a cloak to imply that she is a small person of a halfling's size.

Casting tradition
Drawbacks: Mental Focus (Requires mental focus to cast. Focus lost from losing the ability to concentrate, failing a concentration check, or failing against mind-affecting effects. Can cast anyway with a DC(20+(cl/2)) concentration check.)
Skilled Casting (Profession Mage) (Requires skill check to cast, Cl is the check result -15 or my CL, which ever is lower. CL of 0 or less is a failure.)
Boon: Easy Focus (Concentration on a magic effect is a move action instead of a standard)
Casting ability: Int
Concentration: +5 d20+cl+int Spell Pool: DC +4 (+1/2 cl +int)

Choices: Racial Build:
3 Aberration type For obvious reasons I hope.
0 small size
0 normal speed The ability to change it's basic form means it can use an efficient shape for moving.
0 normal languages the seven being, draconic, sylvan, terran, undercommon, elven, drwaven, and infernal. They live in forests and caves, and thus know the languages they most encounter, as well as the language of magic and the language of those most often contacted from the outer planes.
-2 mixed weakness -4 str, -2 cha, +2 dex, +2 int They are not actually that much weaker than other races, but they can't really apply their full strength to most activities given their lack of skeletal support. They have little contact with others, and what connections they do build are generally based on practicality and logic rather than emotion, thus they seem offputting to other peoples. They are logical and practical in thought and their bodies are of course very flexible.
2 climb
2 swim Climb and swim speeds because they can change form to easy move as needed, grabbing handholds easily and shaping fins easily.
4 all around vision They have no specific eyes, rather, they absorb light with their skin to see, allowing them to see with all parts of their skin.
1 stalker (stealth & perception are class skills) They are predatory in nature, and thus naturally hone these skills , not to mention the great vision, shifting form, and black color helping out these skills.
2 silent hunter Penalty for moving in stealth reduced by 5; can run while stealthing at -20
3 swift as shadows Penalty for moving full speed reduced by 5, and sniping reduced by 10. These are of course about their ability to hide and move.
-1 negative energy affinity heals from negative energy, hurt by positive
GM added Amorphous Immune to precision dmg and critical hits.
