The Words of Power system seems very interesting and is a good break from the Vancian magic the D&D system used to rely upon. While I would like to use it in an upcoming game, what I worry about is that it is not entirely viable as words can only be used for specific purposes. Has anyone played a character using this system and if so, how does it compare to an ordinary spellcaster?
