History

Spoiler:

Tariro had heard all the stories. That her people once ruled the jungle. From giant cities long covered up by the jungle, where even the fierce Charau-Ka feared them and paid them homage. Then something happened...No one will speak of what, but now they lived like this.

Eight of them in a cave. Two families sharing this dank oppressive dirty place. Sure there were others...she knew personally of at least five other clans, but they all hid from the rest of the inhabitants of the jungle. always hungry, and in fear...surely this could not be the fate of her people.

"I am leaving she one day exclaimed to her parents, and the other members of her clan". "I will no longer cower here and wait for life to happen to me". "There has to be more out there". "If our people were great once, then we must leave our caves if we ever want to do so again".

With that, despite the protestations of her family, Tariro packed her meager belongings, stuffed Dotar into his box, and left the cave.

She met others. Some friendly some not, but for the most part kept hidden and to herself. For some reason some seemed to almost fear her despite her small stature...maybe it was her unusual dark skin, and brilliant piercing eyes.

Tariro is short and a bit husky, with black skin and hair, and piercing green eyes. she typically wears light animal furs, and boots, with a hooded cloak made from the skin of a single Nightcat. Whe keeps her blowgun and javelins in a harness around her shoulders, and her longspear in hand. At her belt is a dagger. In the sack accross her other shoulder is a box given to her by her grandfather before he died. On the box are strange runes that nobody has been able to interpret, and the secrets of its construction is also lost to time. In this box she keeps her toad companion Dotar.
