Physical Description:

By any measure, the man's physical statue is unremarkable, in a crowd he could easily vanish into anonymity like a single leaf in a forest. Taranis stands a hand under six feet, and carries a mesomorphic frame under simple clothes. Reddish brown hair cascades to square shoulders, and a genuine smile splits the forest of a beard. His skin and face speak to generations of Rostlander stock, but his skin tells of a life out of doors. Taranis is tanned to the deepest layers of his skin, with eyes growing premature crow's feet under the sun's light. Nevertheless, there's something inherently uncivilized about the man. It's not the look, though, it's something more cthonic.

Moments before Taranis approaches he brings the feeling of the wild. It's the earthy musk and the petrichor. It washes over the civilized, and reminds everyone that this man is unbowed and unbroken by Abadar's work.

Background:

Taranis comes from a Rostland family interested in status, appearance, and wealth. The gaming and scheming was distasteful, and while Taranis learned a bit of it as a teen grooming for future control, he thought that there MUST be bigger things in the world. So he struck out on his own, looking for honest challenges and to see where Fate draws him
