Greetings!
I'm very new to Pathfinder, having just played in two Monday night PF2 Society events at Mox Boarding House since January 20th. Because I own a lot of digital 1st-ed books on Paizo that I've never used, I was very interested in creating a 1st-ed character to use with the materials. I was excited to find out about Mox Mini Con on 2/15 in Bellevue and started to create my very first character, a male dwarf witch, on this site. On closer review of the posted adventures for Mox Mini Con, however, there aren't any for 1st-level characters!
So I have an initial dilemma of, if I want to participate as a 1st-ed level 1 character that I've created, what is a recommendation to get them to level 4 in organized play? Are there any local events coming up in the Seattle area that should have a 1st-level adventure that I can join (maybe PaizoCon will still have PF1 games for 1st-level)? My fear is that, because of the push of 2nd-ed content in organized play, 1st-ed is being discarded despite such a rich legacy of material. If my character was just 3 more levels higher, I would be able to participate Saturday in the 1st-ed games, so it's that case of too late to the party.
Thank you for any recommendations that you might have regarding this. I know that I could just create a 2nd-ed character for Saturday, and my plan as a longtime 3.5-ed D&D player had been to get a feel for the 1st-ed of PF before I move forward with 2nd-ed.
Best,
Taraka Dark
