"Do we have any idea what's coming our way? I would like to be a bit more prepared, but I guess this will have to do." Talikriktug calmly walks forward, arms gracefully spreading before turning a complete circle. A sheen covers his arms, chest, and legs, before snapping into form as thin icy plates of armor. "Unless we can find more water around here, this is just about the extent of my bending ability for now." He takes a position ahead of the caravan, directly between the oncoming cloud and their charges.
"I wouldn't worry about the rain. Should it prove to be a problem, I am confident I can keep us dry, and provide drinking water for us as well." Talikriktug smiles as he thinks about polar bear-dogs. "They certainly can cause trouble, but they can also be very loyal and valuable friends. It takes a strong hand and calm demeanor to handle them, though. "
Talikriktug all but gawks at his companions' shows of skill and bravado. "I am more than happy to water that grass, if you think it needs it. But rain coming down will do that even easier and more thoroughly than I can." After Zantos story, he laughs loudly."That must have been something to see, Zanto. Nothing like that ever happened back home. The most excitement we'd have was if a polar bear-dog got into camp and started knocking over houses to eat our food!"
Personality: Talikriktug is fairly gullible and trusting. He is extremely confident in his physical abilities, but will fall for a pretty face or cunning ruse very easily. He's extremely curious about new cultures, coming from such an insular community. He grew up knowing everything about everyone around him. He often inserts himself clumsily into situations where others would want privacy, basically a "tundra-bumpkin". He can't stand bullies. Anyone who picks on the young, elderly, or infirm instantly become threats to deal with. |
