Abyssal

Background Skill (Knowledge (Nobility), Linguistics)

Bardic Knowledge (Ex) A skald adds half his class level (minimum 1) (the current bonus is +1) on all Knowledge skill checks, and may make all Knowledge skill checks untrained.

Cantrips Skalds learn a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, as noted on Table 1-11: Skald Spells Known. These spells are cast like any other spell, but they do not consume any slots and may be used again.

Darkvision (Ex) Range 60 ft.; Darkvision is the extraordinary ability to see with no light source at all, out to a range specified for the creature. Darkvision is black and white only (colors cannot be discerned). It does not allow characters to see anything that they could not see otherwise-invisible objects are still invisible, and illusions are still visible as what they seem to be. Likewise, darkvision subjects a creature to gaze attacks normally. The presence of light does not spoil darkvision.

Darkvision

Enhance Weapons (Su) The spell warrior can use his raging song to grant a +1 enhancement bonus to the weapons (including ammunition) of allies within 60 feet. The maximum bonus gained is based upon the number of weapons affected: +5 to one weapon, +4 to two weapons, +3 to three weapons, or +2 to four or more weapons. Fifty pieces of ammunition count as one weapon for this purpose. The wielder of a weapon enhanced by this raging song counts as if he were under the effect of an inspired rage raging song for all purposes involving the skald's rage powers. These bonuses can also be used to add any of the following weapon special abilities to the weapons enhanced by this ability: dancing, defending, distance, flaming, frost, ghost touch, keen, mighty cleaving, returning, shock, seeking, or speed. Adding these weapon special abilities consumes an amount of bonus equal to the special ability's cost (see Table 15-9: Melee Weapon Special Abilities on page 469 of the Core Rulebook). These enhancement bonuses and special abilities overlap with any enhancements or special abilities the weapon already has, though duplicate special abilities do not stack. If an affected weapon is not magical, at least a +1 enhancement bonus must be added before any other special abilities can be. The bonus and special abilities granted by this raging song are determined when the song begins, and cannot be changed until the raging song ends and another is begun. These bonuses apply to only one end of a double weapon.

Fiendish Language (Ex) Tieflings speak either Abyssal or Infernal.

Fiendish Resistance (Ex) Tieflings have cold resistance 5, electricity resistance 5, and fire resistance 5.

Fiendish Sorcery (Ex) Tiefling sorcerers with the Abyssal or Infernal bloodlines treat their Charisma score as 2 points higher for all sorcerer class abilities.

The Optimisth The Optimist: People don’t need to take
your word that things are getting better; they only need to look around and see the proof before their eyes. The town’s recovery from the
orc occupation more than a decade ago is all but complete, and the monster in the Sarenite templeoutside of town has finally been bested. Your irrepressible sense of optimism seems to fly in the face of the hard life that most residents of Roslar’s Coffer face, but you’re convinced that your positive attitude lifts up your community. You gain a +1 trait bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects. Further, your optimism can be infectious. As a swift action
a number of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier
(minimum 1), you can grant this bonus to an ally within 10 feet.
This bonus lasts for 1 minute.

Illuminator (Sarenrae) When you are filled with the light of Sarenrae, your speech takes on a fiery eloquence. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks, and Diplomacy is a class skill for you.

Improved Counterspell The spell warrior receives the Improved Counterspell feat as a bonus feat.

Raging Song A skald is trained to use music, oration, and similar performances to inspire his allies to feats of strength and ferocity. At 1st level, a skald can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. For each level thereafter, he can use raging song for 2 additional rounds per day. Starting a raging song is a standard action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action. A raging song cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the skald is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action each round to maintain it. A raging song counts as the bard's bardic performance special ability for any effect that affects bardic performances. A skald may learn bard masterpieces (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Magic 21). A raging song has audible components, but not visual components. Affected allies must be able to hear the skald for the song to have any effect. A deaf skald has a 20% chance to fail when attempting to use a raging song. If he fails this check, the attempt still counts against his daily limit. Deaf creatures are immune to raging songs. If a raging song affects allies, when the skald begins a raging song and at the start of each ally's turn in which they can hear the raging song, the skald's allies must decide whether to accept or refuse its effects. This is not an action. Unconscious allies automatically accept the song. If accepted, the raging song's effects last for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first. At 7th level, a skald can start a raging song as a move action instead of a standard action. At 13th level, a skald can start a raging song as a swift action instead. You have 7 rounds of raging song per day.

Resistance to Cold (Ex) You may ignore 5 points of Cold damage each time you take cold damage.

Resistance to Electricity (Ex) You may ignore 5 points of Electricity damage each time you take electricity damage.

Resistance to Fire (Ex) You may ignore 5 points of Fire damage each time you take fire damage.

Tiefling (Demon-Spawn)
Skilled Tieflings gain a +2 racial bonus on Disable Device and Perception

Spell-Like Ability Tieflings can use shatter once per day as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability equals the tiefling’s class level.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency A skald is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, light and medium armor, and shields (except tower shields). A skald can cast skald spells while wearing light or medium armor and use a shield without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance. Like other arcane spellcasters, a skald wearing medium or heavy armor incurs a chance of arcane spell failure if the spell in question has somatic components. A multiclass skald still incurs the normal arcane spell failure chance for arcane spells received from other classes.

Background

Spoiler:
I originally grew up in Ustalov. I was the child of a minor noble family of an obscure town. I can’t remember the exact name of it nor do I wish to. You see my family cared nothing more than power even going as far as to try and use me as a pawn in their machinations. I was constantly fighting them to let me live free of them peacefully but I could never fully escape their influence. This finally came to a head when my family started consult with a demon for power. I had enough of them. Enough of the pain they caused me. Enough of the pain they were going to cause others. I did the only thing I could do and just told the church of Sarenrae every single minute detail of their plans. I'm not sure exactly what happened but I was told that my family would no longer be a problem.

With my new found freedom I was happy to live my life the way I wanted to. Aimless and without a cause I heard about the rebuilding efforts going on in Rosolar’s Coffer from the church. Excited to help the town I made my way their. People are quite wary of me given my heritage but I am hoping over time they open up to me..

Personality

Spoiler:

Im pretty sociable and happy now that Im free to pursue my own interests. I’m always ready to offer a helping hand to people in need. I don’t want anyone to face the fear or frustration that I had growing up. Given my isolated upbringing I get pretty excited whenever I experience or see something new. It doesn’t matter what it is. New food. New music. New art. New animals. It doesn’t matter I find all of it fascinating.

Appearance

Spoiler:

I guess you could say that I look like a stereotypical tiefling. I have a tail, horns, hooves, dark red skin, and black pupiless eyes, People tend to find my appearance a little unsettling but I think I look rather cute. Clothing wise I tend to wear bright bombastic outfits from a variety of places I have encountered from my journey to Rosolar.
You know that Tiefling in the Advanced Race Guide that is wearing those bright colorful outfits. Yeah that's how I envisioned her.

Experience
Spoiler:

So I have a decent amount of experience with play by posts. The first ever game I played in was an Ironfang Invasion which has been going on for two years. It was a rough start but I eventually got into the habit of posting fairly decently sized posts. Part of the issue was just trying to find a tone for the character. I feel like the next two play by posts I've participated in show an improvement. The characters being Lynn, Nerris, and Illyana. I do try and post regularly and it isn't hard to do with access to my phone.
