So my players just entered the Runeforge. I have been allowing them sell their loot in Magnimar by hiring a company to transport and sell the large sized loot for a 2-3% cut. I've also allowed then to buy high level equipment by saying it was imported to Magnimar. Now they want to hire a wizard for permanency spells, but I have no idea if there is one in Varisia that can do what they want. Thoughts and suggestions?

So I have a kobold summoner in my groups party. He is riding a huge skeletal dragon eidolon. However, someone told me that you can't ride a mount more than two sizes larger than you. I can't find any rules to support this. I have been allowing him to ride the eidolon but if someone could find the rules I could show him and we can decide from there to apply them or house rule it in his case. Thanks ahead of time!!

So as stated I'm a new GM. Been doing if for a little over 6 months now. Played in a game for about 3 months before that. Otherwise completely new to Pathfinder, and have only played one other tabletop game before. But, I digress. My game has had a few rocky moments but it's been a blast otherwise. My players are all new except for one player who played 3.5. We are fighting Xanesha next game. I told them a couple of sessions ago that the "tutorial" mode was now off. It hasn't been bad yet. My question however is how should I change my campaign? I have anywhere between 4 and 8 players depending on who's there. It's been averaging around 6. I've added a few baddies from time to time but nothin terrible. And I've added my own encounters and got rid of leveling by XP, instead choosing to follow the guidelines the AP gives. Now with 6 to 8 PCs should I only start adding more baddies or should I maybe stop them from reaching level 18. I mean I know I will have t add enemies but I'm concerned that "tough" encounters will still be to easy. Should I maybe keep them a level or two behind the given level recommendations? I think I'm just repeating info now and this turned out to be much longer than I intended so I'm gonna quit typing now any and all advice is grealy appreciated!!!!!

So we did the optional BBEG for Burnt Offerings last week and the party handily brought Malfesknor to his knees. When thy finally learned he could talk they were discussing options of what to do with him. He just aske to be set free. The fighter and paladin said no way it will come back to bite us! The summoner let him go but he was hunted down and killed. Now, my question is, while they were talking, after Malfesknor had surrendered mind you, the fighter struck him mid sentence. Now the paladin is a pally of Iomadae. So should she have not jumped to the beasts defenece because he had surrendered? She said that she knew it was evil and it needed to die. But aren't paladins supposed to represent their Gods and Goddesses not cast divine judgement? Thought and opinions please.

So I may be posting in the wrong thread, if so my apologies, by I wanted opinions on a campaign a friend and I are creating. We will be co-GMing a party if 7-9. We thought it would be interesting if we incorporated the First World. Seeing as how it "lays behind" the material and shadow plane I was thinking maybe the 8 eldest had their spirits sealed away and their bodies/power was being used by the 9th eldest. It's all an elaborate scheme to merge the shadow and martial plane but he's using the fey and other eldest to keep eyes off him. By merging them he could them merge them with the First World. Seeing as how he had been banished to the shadow plane he finds a loop hole by merging these planes. The effects could be anything u wanted. Plus I have 8 bosses at least that the party could fight. Interesting or no?

So my party of 8 just dealt with Naulia and all of her mercenaries. They successfully managed to sneak in and out while only killing the goblin wives and Gogsmurt. Now that they have rested they have decided to return a week later to try and deal with the creature known only to them as Malfesknor. The goblins obviously would have noticed Naulia and Bruthazmas' deaths, and the dissapearce of Orik, Tsuto, and Lyrie. My question is, do you think that Ripnugget, having found out that Gogsmurt died, would finally take him serious and prepare for the return of the people that attacked them? If so, what defenses would he have made. I already intend on the "refugee goblins" to have been intiated into the Thistletop tribe. I'm also considering having a worg recently have allied with them, possibly leading them into a trap in the courtyard since it can talk. Any other thoughts, opinions, etc.?

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not but here goes. I'm a first time GM and have only played slightly. One of my new players played 3.5 D&D for quite sometime. He is new to our group and he and I spoke beforehand. We agreed that if he could over look my(quite frequent) mistakes than he could often let me know when I have done something that isn't "by the book." I like the fact that he will tell me if the rule book says something different than I've said. The reason I decided to GM was to learn the rules better after all. However, last game session was...interesting. I allowed the party to don armor hastefully in one round, due to lack of much gaming time. Afterwards, the previously mentioned player informed me that it takes 5 rounds. Now I had already ruled one round and wasn't going to take back a ruling. However, knowing this I plan on following the actual ruling every time after. Before I could let my players know this, one of them jumped down the experienced players throat for correcting me. He basically told him, "I'm going to call bull****. You are trying to GM and you are NOT the GM." Now this really, REALLY bothered me. I didn't even get to tell them that I wasn't going to go back on what I said. Needless to say, I almost killed the player in game.(bad GMing, I know I know) I've talked to this player before about some of his actions towards other players. I don't think he means to be such a prood. But he's also hypocritical. Three rounds later he tried to argue with me that a player could wield both a bow and a punch dagger. Any thoughts on how to approach the situation appropriately and get my point across without killing his PC and telling him to think about what he did?

So there are spells that say they "target one creature or object." There are also spells that "target self or you." Is it possible to target yourself with a spell that targets one creature or object? I mean, logically speaking, I am one creature or object, no?

Sooooo...
My group just finished up fighting the quasit in the catacombs. Unfortuntely, one of my PC's didn't make it through the encounter. Rock, our half-orc barbarian, fell victim to the pool of wrath. The rest of the party decided it would be best to run and shut him in with the last remaining sinspawn. Seeing as how he demolished every other sinspawn almost single handedly this didn't seem like such a bad idea. Lock him in until the wrath wore off, right? Wrong. They didn't take into account the damage he sustained from the well. Needless to say, when they re-opened the doors t'was a gruesome scene indeed. Entrials spead about, shedded bits of face on the wall, etc. My question, however, is do I start him at level one or at level three with the rest of the party when he remakes a character?
