The next day Taerl and Talos approach the meeting point and see two of their associates already waiting.

"Greetings." says Taerl, "A fine day to begin our journey."

Taerl stands and says, "Tomorrow at midday it is."

"I agree with my dwarven friend regarding the offer." says Taerl.

"Perhaps we can head out as soon as we are outfitted for travel."

"Well, Lord Mayor, it sounds like there are many possibilities to explain the problem in Dela Faroth." Taerl says, "Which do you think is the most plausible?"

Diplomacy check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Taerl strolls over to an empty chair on one side. He glances at the others and recognizes them from the tavern. I must have arrived late and missed the party at the tavern. he thinks.

He sits and turns towards the Lord Mayor. "Thank you for your hospitality Lord Mayor." he says, "I'm curious though. How did you come to know our names and extend the...how should I say...invitation?"

Taerl and Talos finish their meal and retire to their room.

The next morning they make their way to the Grand Offices. Taerl approaches the gnome and pulls out his envelope. He shows it to the gnome and says, "I think we are expected."

I'm a little confused. Am I with everybody or still at the tavern?

Taerl and Talos order their dinner and begin to dine. They notice several inebriated patrons stumble over to a table.

"Hmmm...I wonder what this is about?" Taerl says quietly to Talos as he nods towards the table.

Perception check for Taerl: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Perception check for Talos: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

"Well, this could be interesting. Don't you think Talos?" Taerl says as he hands the letter to the eidolon to read.

"Interesting...perhaps." Talos replies, "and also dangerous."

Taerl and Talos ask one of the local people where the Guilded Stag might be located. The woman answers, but she can't help but stare at Talos. His appearance is....different. Talos is used to this sort of thing and ignores it.

They eventually find the Guilded Stag and take a seat at one of the tables.

Hammith, when or if Hagrym finds someone in the party he can trust who might be able to use the wand, he is going to try and persuade them to mage armor him when possible.

My summoner has Mage Armor as a known spell, so I can help you out.

I think my Summoner and Eidolon are ready to go. I have an idea for a background of the character and how he acquired the eidolon. I'll write something up and post it. Probably sometime tomorrow.

Do you want me to roll for my eidolon's HPs too or use the Monster tables in the Bestiary (avg. 5.5/HD)?

Here are my Eidolon's hit points if you want me to roll for them (max 10 for 1st hit die).

10 + 3d10

Posted as the wrong alias above. :)

This is MoFiddy. Here is my summoner. I'm not quite done yet, but here is what I have.

My HP rolls:
