Anophth+Were-Rats: Anophth seems to be afflicted by a skinchanger curse! THIMBLERIG (2/2)

1 Hour
Four illusory duplicates spring into existence in open spaces
within your reach. For the duration, each duplicate moves
with you, continually exchanging places so that observers
cannot discern which one is the real you. The duplicates’
movement does not trigger free attacks.
When a creature gets a success with an attack roll against
your Defense, Strength, or Agility, roll a d20 to see whether
the attack affects you or one of the duplicates. If it affects a
duplicate, reduce the number of duplicates by one. The effect
ends when the last duplicate disappears.
With 4 active a 16 or less hits a duplicate.
With 3 active a 15 or less hits a duplicate.
With 2 active a 14 or less hits a duplicate.
With 1 active a 10 or less hits a duplicate.
VERTIGO (2/2)
Short Range
The target perceives its immediate environs as spinning.
Make an Intellect attack roll against the target’s Perception.
On a success, the target becomes afflicted with vertigo
for 1 minute. If it moves more than 2 yards on its turn while
afflicted this way, it must make an Agility challenge roll. On a
failure, it falls prone and ends its turn.
Attack Roll 20+ While afflicted with vertigo, the target also
falls prone, potentially ending its turn, when it takes damage.
INVISIBILITY (1/1)
Target One creature or object you can reach
Duration 1 minute
You touch the target, which becomes invisible for the duration.

Story:

Tchernobog Watvans began his life in a middle class family, he took to the arts and music. Even in this world of war and turmoil he found that a song and some laughter were sometimes the most important things when people were at the end of their rope. His parents were both Ferren and they often hunted small animals as a small unit of cats. He has always been fast and deft but never took to the active life willingly. As he became an adult he towered over his parents and peers at 6 foot slender and well built he was quite large for a Ferren.
Still his arena was the stage and he sparred with wit and words. His mother Stardust was a great influence on his character. She always told him to do what he needed to for his family and everyone else with sort it out. If they don't like you now, they'll like you later! He made a short lived career out of singing, getting a spot among high-brow socialites by chance after a well performed show in a pub. For him, tragedy struck as he was conscripted into a small war by the very people who applauded him the night before. This bought went longer then anyone had expected and dragged him across the country side until his troop was flanked and he ran for his life. His comrades perishing in the fray. He traveled on, without a clue of where he was or how to get home until he found Crossings.
His story teeters into the mundane, he hadn't been able to find the work he wanted being an outsider and got by on wit and slight of hand until he found Sarin. She was a witch of a woman, both metaphorically and literally. She found him endearing and he found her to have a life off the streets and food in her cauldron. He grew to love her and they had a boy, not on purpose, they called Nutmeg. She insisted on naming him after her favorite spice but the sentiment was lost on the reluctant father, he was distant and dazed as the only work to be found was as a miner in the not-so-nearby hills. He'd be gone for a week or two at a time and be home only briefly but she's gone now. Her dabbling in the dark arts had come to a head when she began to perform small acts of necromancy. It was an odd night before T-bog was to be gone the next day for another week of work and his loving companion began an inquisition into his past life, his family, his mother. Who she was, what she liked, how she talked, her birthday. Every detail he could remember and it made him happy. He began to relive his better days, then she was gone without so much as a goodbye.
When Boggert was relived of his duties and sent home he found the room empty still, his son was with Father Gregory who watched him while they worked but Sarin was not to be found. It wasn't until a day or so later that her corpse was found in the forest nearby, the scene set by the hunter who found her was uneasy at best, grotesque is a better word. "Rats, rats! RATS! Hundreds of them all circled around this woman, all corpses, dead! I've never seen a site like it! Then I saw her! It's as if the life was sucked right out of her, just skin and bones was left! I can't make sense of it boy but I'm sorry fer yer loss...". As T-Bog stared at the dead woman he didn't feel much of anything. A little sorrow, a little freedom, a little relief and a lot of nothing. He sat with Gregory for a long time and he helped him with his son tenfold. Thankfully too young to understand but just old enough to miss her still.
It was a tough few months. Evicted and on the street it was back to his old ways. He didn't return to the mine and his voice felt so far away. It was around the time he started feeling like himself again when we was woken by a dim blue light... sitting on his chest. He jumped and flung it across the room where it shattered into dozens of pieces, dozens of bones. As he relaxed and questioned what the hell that thing was the bones began to shift and move. He stared in awe as they formed back into a little mouse, smaller then a normal mouse because it had not meat on it. The thing ran back and forth across the floor, fetching this and that. In ways only he could tell, this rat held the soul of his mother. That witch used him to fetch a soul for her to play with. He was enraged at first and still holds resentment for the action but it became a boon to have his ever-wise parent at his side even though she couldn't communicate further then biting him when she disapproved.

That was some years ago, still on the streets with his boy by his side on this particular morning... But he's supposed to be with Father Gregory while he... I don't know, preaches or mends the sick or whatever he does with his day? How am I supposed to make any money with Nutters here following me around? Damn it Greg, today of all days, I have an actual show tonight! In front of people!

Questions:

1) How do others make you feel? Do you like being the center of attention or bring left alone; is there a such thing as a stranger to you or do you even know what it's like to have a friend. Things like that.
When he can shine he really likes to show it, only when he is successful does he feel comfortable around others. Once his ability and self-worth falter he hides away, making himself presentable again.
2) Name one thing you value most. Then name one thing you could lose. These could be ideals, physical possessions, relationships, etc...
Little Nutter, his dear boy. If anything happened to him he would go to the ends of the earth to put down whatever fiend harmed him. Boggert only really needs the clothes on his back an the close people around him to survive, everything else is meaningless with them.
3) What do you fear? What do you hate?
He fears the most that his example isn't enough to raise his young boy above the cruelty of the world and create a proper man. That's why he relies so much on Father Gregory to show him what it means to be benevolent and how rewarding it is. He hates the way his life has turned out. So much potential seemingly wasted, scrounging every day just to feed himself and his child.
4) What do you desire? What do you love?
Recognition and stability is what T-Bog really looks for in this world. He loves his little boy of course and second, they way it feels to perform in front of people who really appreciate his art.
5) You have (at least) one secret. What is it?
His little rat, he calls it Prometheus, not a secret out right except it's the soul of his dearest mother Stardust that occupies the corpse and gives it life.
6) Have you done something Notable? What was it?
T-bog, or rather Tchernobog as he was know at the time, used to perform shows at the greatest theaters for the richest aristocrats. That's all gone now...
7) Are you in charge or do you let others take that roll? Do you rebuke authority or revel in it?
T-bog doesn't mind giving up the lead to someone more knowledgeable but demands his voice be heard when he has something to say.
8) Do you follow through on your promises and obligations? Or do you delay or avoid? Do you feel guilty when you don't uphold them?
In his mind's mind he categorizes things and people to create a priority list for tasks and favors. How this list changes and morphs is a mystery even to him. He draws most noticeably with his emotions in the moment rather then a consistent base of trust.
9) What are your opinions on Good and Evil? Do they exist? Or is it all shades of Grey? Where do you see yourself?
There are those who do only good like Father Gregory and those who do only evil like the demons that inhabit this land and the people who prey on the weak. T-bog falls in-between and flows in favor of benefiting himself and his kin.
