Syntriani grew up in Riddleport as a foundling and an orphan. Knife fighting started out as a way to protect herself from harassment, but she demonstrated such a talent for it that it eventually became a vocation and a way of life for her.

When not spending her time (and money) at one of the infamous Riddleport gambling halls, she makes her living hiring on with whatever gang of highwaymen will take her, and can pay enough.

She has recently fled Riddleport after she participated in a botched raid on a caravan belonging to one of the larger crime lords of the city.
