I am surprised some people don't have an army of pcs waiting to be played. I have come up with so many characters using pathbuilder that my issue will be if I will ever get to play most of them, but it does mean that I can have a character for every season that comes up

As for needing to get a pc to level range I know that my tengu kineticist will have to be leveled from 7 to 9, and my awakened animal (leucrotta) champion from 5 to 7. Getting my newest pc, dragonblood athamaru ranger will be able to reach level 3 easily and hopefully level 5 as well

There are 3 reasons, I suspect-

1) They didn't want to lock an Ancestry used by a pregenerated character behind 160 AcP.
2) The society's current mission of collecting warshards and keeping them out of the hands of those who want to use them for ill aligns with the reason the Jotunborn seems to have come to Golarion, so allying with the society is a natural fit.
3) The Jotunborn are at least in part an answer to the popularity of Goliaths in Dungeons and Dragons, so letting new players make Jotunborn characters makes it easier for people to port characters over

I guess that makes sense, especially 2. Still would've loved to see awakened animals atleast discounted, given the effects of the godsrain

So jotunborn are freely available to every society player with the book, no boon necessary; yet so many other ancestries that are more common and have a decent presence in the world are still locked behind boons. I am confused why and also is that how things will be going forward for new ancestries.

For context, Andoran taking Breachill from the Hellknights is also the setting of the upcoming Year 7 Intro module for Pathfinder Society, so upset AoA players will need to sit out more than one hour of gameplay.

Oh wow. I had not heard about that.

I hope they'll at least give us an explanation for where the people who canonically made the citadel their home are? I mean it would be like referencing the Stolen Lands as if they were never settled in Kingmaker right? That's the only other AP I know of that revolves around a single location in a similar way.

Seriously, how would players who've gone through Kingmaker feel about that?

Branching alternate reality? Why is it so hard for people to understand that how things go on your home game doesn't mean there isn't some hard coded story outcome for the games as a whole. Even with society play where choices can matter they have take into account multiple groups and out comes.

Well I guess my hellhound (awakened animal with dragonblood heritage) dragon instinct barbarian will see some action in season 7 then.

I NEED to hear more about this brewing continental war, holy cow.

Ironically I might be playing an awakened cow battle oracle next season if the theme of season 7 involves said war

I wonder how this also effects society play; in other words will there be a scenario meta plot that ties into all of this?

One thing to Consider... Lasmashtu might not be mentioned because perhaps she *Penned* these false prophecies... I feel like it could be significant that she was left out completely but it doesn't have to be that shes the one that dies.

I always was a little suspicious of that beast from Erastil's prophecy and the references to nightmares. I agree with this stance...

I'll take it one step further. These were all abandoned plans. Lamashtu is the killer. This wouldn't be the first god she killed, and honestly, it'd be nice to have her have some proper villain behavior.

Interesting concept of Lamashtu going into a more feral mode; I love it. Not to mention the idea of her devouring a whole god

I wonder what the other animal heritages will be. I can imagine one for flying animals, one for aquatic; but I wonder what option will be for a jackal or even a leucrotta-type character. Also wonder if a swallow whole heritage will be a thing.
Furthermore what of animals with more than one attack option.

Also, how would an awakened animal with the half-elf/orc heritage work; just a thought that popped in my head
