Background:

"We will take shelter here, Mvumbu" said Venture-Captain Kiboko to his companion, Mvumbu the Wise and Beautiful, as they entered a dark cave deep in the Mwangi Expanse. "The storm will soon pass."

"Haarrr!!" honked the great she-hippo in agreement, and the pair began to settle in for the night.

In the back of the cave Kiboko found something. A man - but broken and melted, with unseeing silver eyes. The Venture-Captain reached out to touch the melted man, seeking some sign of life. Suddenly, both the melted man and the half-orc hunter were covered in crawling insects. "Swarm!" cried Kiboko, and was about to ask his companion to trample the bugs when the melted man sat upright.

"Swarm" said the melted man. "Swarm... I am Swarm. You are Father." The insects retreated inside "Swarm", and the creature stood. "I am Swarm. You are Father."

Exceptional Senses: Darkvision 60', lowlight vision, +2 Perception
Constructed: For the purposes of effects targeting creatures by type (such as a ranger’s favoured enemy and bane weapons), androids count both as humanoids and as constructs. Androids gain a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, and stun effects. They are not subject to fatigue or exhaustion, and are immune to disease and sleep effects.
Emotionless: Androids can never gain morale bonuses and are immune to fear effects and emotion effects. They have problems processing emotions properly, and thus take a –4 penalty on Sense Motive checks.
Nanite Surge: An android’s body is infused with nanites. Once per day as an immediate action, an android can cause her nanites to surge, granting her a bonus equal to 3 + the android’s character level on any one d20 roll; this ability must be activated before the roll is made. When an android uses this power, her circuitry-tattoos glow with light equivalent to that of a torch for 1 round.
