Hello, I'm a total newbie to dm'ing and i'm still trying to get a grasp on the rules (specifically for combat)
I wanted to try an encounter with an ettercap
The melee section says: bite +5 (1d6+2 plus poison) and 2 claws +5 (1d4+2)
How exactly does the attack of this creature work?
The bite and claws are two separate attacks, but it says 2 claws. Does that get treated as 2 separate attacks or just 1? And if it is 2 attacks are there penalties or anything like that to take into account?
I know there's some sort of penalty for using two weapons as a pc but i wasn't sure if it was different for creatures or more specifically natural weapons
