What's everyone's feelings about the Alien Archive 3? Watching reviews about it and something that made me pick this one up is that the aliens are real weird (link to specific review below). I love the art for all the creatures and that there's not too many "humanoid" creatures. This one stand out from the others in that the species concepts are willing to get real weird.

I was watching a video about Flanking in Starfinder and I was under the impression that as long as a creature is touching a square across threatening creature, and meeting all the other requirements for Flanking, they'd get the bonus. But the example at 0:58 in the video states they don't get the bonus because they're not directly across from the other creature in melee. Is that the case?

Yeah, a lot of the grenades have their uses, granting cover/concealment with smoke or dealing with targets in cover. Starfinder's focus on positioning makes it a good idea to keep a couple types of grenades at hand.

Sounds like a good question for those 20 Sided Knight guys. They did a pretty good job with Captain Marvel and Master Chief.

I've been looking around YouTube for channels similar to Nerdarchy or WebDM to binge watch but for Starfinder. I don't know why but I don't like that Taking20 guy. The guys at 20 Sided Knight seem cool, but they're kind of low budget/sub count so IDK, has anyone else checked them out? Are their advice, giveaways, and (tiny) community legit or are they kind of a pass?

Might be a little late to this one, but I like the idea 20 Sided Knight had about making some kind of feat for the Mechanic drone to be able to take at certain levels to fill in for rolls.

For a basic skim of the classes, rules, and whatnot of Starfinder, one of my favorite resources is the YouTube channel 20 Sided Knight. Their 'Class At A Glance' playlist is pretty good especially for players new to Starfinder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXbXYX47Qj4&list=PLH7O7aDjYo4deT5tpj-QT dhMV5xXDC5X0

I've wanted to play the Predator as a bounty hunter in my game for a while now, I came across this video, but something seems missing. They made him a Soldier with no Operative levels. What do you guys think, would this work? Also, Is there a cheaper alternative to the Displacement Field in the AA?

One of the most important sessions is going to be a "Session 0". A YouTube channel I watch went over this in pretty good detail. Basically goes over everything from where and when you'll be playing to what kind of campaign you'll be running. I've tried their method and my games have been going a lot smoother since.

I thought I was the only one who watched 20 Sided Knight. They're small but I friggin' love those guys!

Hey, came across this channel 20 Sided Knight that might help you out here. They went over Solarians in their Starfinder classes video.

As of now there are no Starfinder miniatures, I've been using mixed miniatures from Star Saga, Star Wars Legon (rebels), and other sci-fi lines. I know Star Saga's pretty inexpensive and I saw a video from the channel 20 Sided Knight that they're giving away Stat Wars Legion Rebels that might work in a pinch. I'll put a link, I think it runs until the end of May:

Hey, so I came across this video on Solarians that I think you might find helpful when making yours. It would seem you don't lose your ability to use the features of graviton or photon depending on the mode you're in, but using a skill of an unattuned mode makes it less potent.

As a straight guy and I'm not sure how to play it queer. I threw in a random NPC in my session while they were in the Fusion Queen. I didn't want to over play it, but I just kinda had the NPC Ysoki hit on a PC.
Any information on how to do this would be appreciated, I do like the idea of it being a more open galaxy. https://youtu.be/hktB2MlhKIA

Mystics are very versatile casters who can play roles of healers, paladins, and even mind controllers. I actually made a short video of them. https://youtu.be/chSIwwiut5o
