Does this trait even work? There's no such thing as 'The Fire Type'. A flaming longsword doesn't have a 'fire type', nor does a Red Dragon. They have a fire subtype. If this trait applies to the fire subtype it works against a single spell (meteor swarm), and only a handful of enemies. Errata?
Don't neglect your own concept. Every encounter in the module I ran had a social option to make through (bar the trap). Make IC friends and make OOC friends. Find other characters your character will mesh well with, and realize that wizards realize they are squishy, and can make friends with BigDumb McFighter and then turn making friends into making a long-term name for themselves. Love the look of your half-elf, and any time you want to stab the guy I'm grappling-on-fire feel free. ;) |
