Greetings!

So,...

I am starting to play in a Skulls and Shackles campaign the coming week.

I will be playing an Inquisitor of Cayden Caelian.
I know that my alignment might provide me with some issues since this campaign is all about pirates and all the actions that come with that...

I have done some research on Inquisitors/The shackles and Cayden..

I think that i can work around those issues in the following ways.

I will constantly be keeping My Bluff/Intimidate/Diplomacy and Sense motive at max so i can get people to work with me easier. Pretty basic, but it helps

My GM wanted me to provide him with a background story.
In short.
Parents got killed by Pirates, got raised by Privateers (Andoran) but got recruited by an Inquisitor who bought passage on that ship. He took me to live and train in Andoran.
Years later on graduation day the order got wiped out in a pirate attack. I am the only one that got away. Everyone else is dead or taken in to slavery. Lonely and stricken by grief i turned to what i knew best. Sailing on the open seas.
After a while i find myself in Port Peril and against all odds find my old crew. (The ship i got recruited on)
We catch up and they set sail the next day. Couple of days later rumours start pouring in that that particulair ship has been ambushed and all have been killed or sold into slavery. With a thirst for vengeance i find a new purpose in life, Vengeance. But not just simple revenge, i vowed to root out all pirates who have taken their twisted idea of freedom too far. Those who raid just for the sake of killing and are practicing slave trade will all be dealth with. But Since i am an Inquisitor i will not just be attacking them head on. Instead i will move among them, become them, change and move them from the inside, move them in the direction i want. From the shadows and on occasion on the open seas i shall strike at them. But to do that i will have to become a pirate of great influence. Perhaps even become the next hurricane king.

Now. From my perspective i have filled enough gaps to make it work. Any suggestions/remarks/advice?

You think this will work? Or should i perhaps go for another religion?

Hi there!,

So, ill be running a small campaign to try out being a GM. This will be a small self written campaign.

At the end i want my friends to face a Infernal Bloodrager at a Demonic summoning ritual.

What i am asking of you, how do i build such a character? Cause, i dont think a lvl 2 Bloodrager will be much of a match against 4 lvl 2 PC's

Do i make it lvl 8? Or higher? Or do i need to do something entirely different? With random animal encounters i am good. I Know how to adjust the CR to their lvls. I think.. ( Book says total PC lvl, devided by number of PC's plus 1?)

Can you guys help me out a bit? I am lost in all the rules and texts..

Hi people.

So i have some minor experience with a cleric.

After quite some time we decided to start a new campaign with our group.

Now from what i heard we will most likely be doing Carrion Crown.

So far the chosen classes are all DPS classes like Rogue and Sorceress. One guy will most likely go Paladin to hold off the big hitters.

Now what i was thinking is going Half elf/Human Cleric so i can function as general support. Take some hits for our fragile spellcasters, offtank where needed and sling some healing spells were needed. I just love that role.

We will be starting with 15 AB scores i believe.

So what i was thinking.

God Sarenrae Glory/Sun domains. That way (in my head) i can kick some serious a.. with my channels, heal and protect my teammates and be a bane to the undead creatures there.

Now. From the small amount of research i have done i saw that Iomedae might be the better choice. Even though these domains can be chosen with Sarenrae. But my choices might be better protected by going Neutral Good instead of Lawful good as my personality might let some shady actions slide for the greater good.

As for the traits i get to choose i was thinking the +2 against fear rolls campaign trait (we must choose a campaign trait) and one from the books. But there are so many that i cant choose.

As for the feat (or maybe 2 feats in case of human)
Toughness
Or a channel feat, dunno which yet, selective maybe?

Now with this in mind. Any advice for me? Small spoilers are ok, but please no big spoilers :P

Hi there!,

My Party consisting of a sorceress, Rogue a Fighter and my Cleric have been doing great so far. Yet the last few encounters scared the living..... out of me at some points.

Now a mate (the rogue) and i were thinking of summoning 2 of our most hated foes ( Of which we preserved the corpses) back to unholy life as my personal bloody skeleton guard.

Now the problem is im a chaotic Neutral Cleric.. Aside from Ven vinder i get along great with everyone in Sandpoint. ( Yeah yeah i nailed shayliss, he banned me from his store, i bribed him with the rogue and later convinced her to move out and live with me while making some very harsh comments on how to treat his daughter :P ..)

So i decided to hide the fact that my personal undead guard,.. are in fact undead.. They will not roam the streets to much etc. I will buy them robes and armour and nail a Mask on their face and glue their armor shut :P

Maybe im overthinking or missing another option.. So without to many important spoilers (like entire bossfight layouts ) Could you help me out a bit? :P
