Well haha, a support character or characters would make a lot of sense. Alchemists, Witches for example can fit a lot of roles. I think something like that would be a lot more fun then just a straight healbot though that might be useful as well.

Lost track of this game I believe she's taken 29 damage so far Stricia expends a Ki point to cast Barkskin on herself and then goes into Crane Stance and then goes into Fighting Defensively to hold on until her friends get to her, and tries to maintain her grapple on the evil cultist. Grapple Not sure how it's modified by fighting defensively -2 to attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

I'm fine either way. Honestly though, it's hard to continue the momentum when there are long gaps. Especially in an AP which really does require a consistent rate of progress.
