Only if the archetype doesn't replace Speak With Animals of It's Own Kind -ability.

Can a pc wear horseshoes?

If you're a druid sure... just buy the horseshoes and a masterwork farriers kit, Shoeing a horse should be a DC 10.

I guess that also requires the druid not having anything magical in hir feet slot before horsing around...

I'm sure UC Rogue could use it with Finesse Training, but I'm not sure if you'd get 1 1/2 times DEX for the damage.

edit: I checked the FAQ, and apparently you do. This means Finesse Training is better than Agile weapon special ability.

There you go. You now have a bear animal companion, on a barbarian, and your effective druid level is your character level.

That would work, if you have two oracle levels, since Rage Prophet requires BAB +5.

I'm going to make a skald with level or two in barbarian for my Suli. Sounds fitting to me. Negative Int might be troublesome, though.

My guess is that paladins with natural poison ability would refrain from using them, kinda like some monks vow to stay silent.

My paladin's take on part 4 is kinda similar as yours. He won't use poison himself, but he has no problems with someone else using them, as poisoning foes is not actually an evil act. He has no qualms about ambushing foes, however, since he serves Torag, who, among other things, is God of Strategy.

Can everyone with martial weapon proficiency use shields without requiring the shield proficiency, because they show up on the weapon chart as well?

As a weapon, I'd say yes, but one would still take Armor Check Penalty to Attack Rolls. Although, most classes that have proficiency with martial weapons also have proficiency with shields, so that is a rare problem.

I would say so, but they couldn't get a shield bonus to AC with it without having Shield Proficiency.

Eh, no. Shield Proficiency doesn't work like that.
