Hi there. sorry for the long post !!!
I'm currently playing a tanky barbarian that peaked in effectiveness at level 19. I know it is kinda late, but seriously, if you manage to get there in one of your game... It is just plainly incredible. Also, if you see any errors in the build, let me know.
Notice:
- When raging, I'm currently standing at 30 Con, close to 380hp (300 base +80 due to rage), 9 DR/-
- Using a reach weapon.
- A paladin is healing the group, and we have 2 DPS. So I ended up taking no offensive feat or power.
- We were aware that we would reach level 20+.
- This build is good, but really kicks in when you gain the ability to rage cycle (at level 19).

Here is what the build gives me when I am enraged at level 20:
Passive:
- Can fight until -30 hp
- Can add my level to any CMD check (once per round, see AoO)
- +4 Dodge bonus AC (Guarded Stance)
- If below 0 hp
-- +2 on attack and damage rolls
-- Not staggered when using Diehard
-- Lose 1 hp if doing a full round or a move and a standard action
When using Combat Expertise, total defense or fighting defensively
- Add 10 DR/- (total of 19 DR/-)
AoO
- CMD check = Enemy cannot move anymore.
When an ally is attacked:
- Spend an AoO = Aid another (+2 AC)
- Can intercept a successful attack on an ally as an immediate action
When hit (once per round):
- Fort save (DC = dmg received), absorb half, remaining of the damage is non-lethal
When healed :
- Heal additionnal hp equal to Con modifier + healer's level (+25hp per heal at level 20)
When reaching negative hp:
- 2 x level amount of damage is converted to non-lethal
- Stabilize if still < 0 hp
When killed:
- Spend 1 round of rage = Heal Con bonus hp. Up to 1 hp

18: Knockback (Ex) (some CC, could be replaced with Ground Breaker)
