I suppose my friend just gets frustrated most of the time in combat she doesn't have any spells to cast.

A couple of mates and I have been playing WOTR

One of my mates pick Seoni and maybe I been teaching the wrong rules

It's seems completely weak, we are still on Scenario 1 btw,

She just roles 1d12 +2d4 if she uses a spell? Isn't she really compared to other characters who just have to reveal to use a weapon, where she just discards

Did I miss adding other dice or any hints?

Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated

Oh, since it hasn't been mentioned yet, here are some websites you should take a look at if you haven't already.

The Pathfinder PRD, the official rules reference document. It doesn't have things like setting books and player companions, but it contains all the rules in the Core Rule Book and the rest of the major books.

Archives of Nethys, a site run by a third party that hosts all the rules, including stuff from setting books and player companions. It's a couple of months behind and doesn't have stuff from the latest releases, but otherwise if there is a rules element that has been printed, then you will find it somewhere in Archives of Nethys. This is totally legal, by the way. It's allowed as part of the Open Gaming Licence and the Community Use Policy to host most game rules on a third party site. Websites can't show everything from the books - artwork and some fluff is out of bounds IIRC, but all character options can be displayed for your viewing pleasure. This also means that you don't actually need to buy rulebooks (although supporting a game you like is generally a good thing to do).

d20pfsrd, another site run by a third party. There are some key differences between this one and Archives of Nethys.
*d20pfsrd hosts some third party stuff. What is third party is marked as such, although how it is marked can be very inconsistent and confusing at times (so check carefully to see if the source is first party or third party).
*d20pfsrd sells 3pp(third party publisher) books as well, although you don't need to pay a penny to access all the Paizo rules content and some 3pp content.
*Because d20pfsrd sells things, it is more restricted in what it can show. Importantly, the website isn't allowed to refer to setting specific stuff. That means that a lot of names have been changed to be generic references. That's why you occasionally see things like...

Thanks for your help, I think they can get well invested as we are all video gamers, I recently bought zombicide black plague and Pathfinder ACG for them to somewhat warmup before getting into Pathfinder Rpg. They have been loving Pathfinder wrath of the righteous a lot.

Bump

Hi, I've always been interested in playing Pathfinder, I've played a lot of boardgames but this will be my first RPG, I just read the Core Rulebook,

I was wondering in order to get my mates more into the hobby, what else should I buy to make the games more interested such as which Adventure Path should we try?

For sure I'm buying the beginner box.

Thank you, that clarifies a lot of things, time to get my caltrops and other cards at the bottom of the box haha.

Hi, I'm trying to get my friends into tabletop board games so I bought Pathfinder ACG.

One of my friends play Balazar, I was just wondering so when you use Padrig you banish the monsters, and from the rulebook Banish means they are not in the box forever, so can i eventually run out of monster to run? or does this banish rule only really work with boons?
