Yes, command is "you must," aversion is "you won't unless you really have to."

Awesome, thanks!

If I were to cast Aversion on someone and the object to avoid was me (a shield, weapon, etc.) then command them to come toward me, would they be able to?

I'm trying to figure out how to build a ranged class that focuses on Bloodwing (a bird or bird-like companion) while also allowing me to deal decent damage at range. My DMs generally don't like gunslingers so I'd prefer to stay out of that class.

I'm thinking about going human hunter with the eye for talent racial trait and I'm having trouble deciding between the standard bird, whisper vulture, or the roc (resembling the Borderlands 2 Bloodwing before "it" happened). I'm leaning towards the roc but I don't know how much it'd be able to fly around when it becomes large at level 7. I run in Pathfinder Society so the location is always changing.

Any advice for classes/feats/traits/companion/etc. would be a great help!
