As Abdur hurries off to pore over the list of applicants, Florence suddenly remembers that they've got an empty spot or two at their table after the professor's departure. She glances around for a moment and spots the dwarven trapsmith (Raman) and the blue-eyed newcomer (Irzati) and waves at them both. "There's some room over here if you're looking to take a load off while we wait," she offers.

Raman is left standing awkwardly as Abdur hurries off. He nods appreciatively at the woman's invitation and shuffles over to her table. His pack drops to the floor with an audible <thunk> as he pulls up a chair and sits down.

"Thank yeh kindly," he looks around the table at all the humans. "I don't suppose you lot have much experience inna 'bout these tombs? I'm a trapsmith, meself."

thanks for the invite! Like many dwarves, Raman is not all that charismatic, but he'll warm up once you've get him talking.

I've added some personalities to Raman's background

Raman's nostrils flared at Abdur's announcement, but he finished his meal methodically before getting up, donning his pack, and getting in line to add his name.

When he reaches the front, he signs his name to the list and remarks gruffly to Abdur in Osirion, "I'm the best trapsmith yer likely to find 'round here. I'll get yer team in unscathed, and..." he thumbs his nose knowlingly, "I've got a nose for valuables. You can be sure I won't miss any gold or silver hidden behind some false burial chamber."

As Raman enters Milki, his eyes dart between the few occupants. Good. Not too busy yet.

He makes his way to a seat against the thick wall, dropping his heavy backpack on the floor next to him with a loud *thunk*.

He flashes a silver piece at a passing servant and calls, "Get me some goat and a mug of ale!", then returns to watching the strange woman at the bar. I sure hope she's not offering a job.
